    The problem is your last line as fans seem to expect a Meredith. I think he's half decent and benefitting from good man-management. He closed down a very threatening attack in the first five minutes, which I think last season he would have been out muscled

    More of an attacking threat yesterday, but need to just keep having a go and taking more risks

    He is now receiving top class coaching that will get the best out of him. That will not turn him to a Meredith but it will get a further 10%. I thought he did well in patches yesterday, his assist was great. He could do with working on positioning,sometimes he finds it hard to be in the right place, but hopefully it will develop. DH loves him, so we will see.

    Very surprised with chicksen form for City as when he had opportunities at Brighton he was OK, kept out by Wayne Bridge if I recall correctly.

    think he's suffered loss of confidence through that serious injury - would take a long time to shake that off in a 50-50 situation. I think he has contributed a lot more since hopkin has given him free rein to get forward, (starting with the Peterboro match) and looks a lot more solid now that he's receiving more help from a rejuvenated midfield. no - he's not meredith........and miller isn't wyke, but you have to support somebody that works hard, not boo when he gets the ball.

    Absolutely disgraceful performance from him today. Bottled at least another 2 challenges and got rinsed by their winger time and time again. And then let's his teammates down at the end with a red, after he was in no man's land yet again. Never want to see him in a city shirt again, get rid.
