    What if he’s on the pitch to long and gets injured? Won’t be any use to anyone then. It’s a long season, I’m prepared to not have our strongest team out yet if there’s mitigating circumstances, as long as it benefits us in the long run. If we were losing every game then I’d have to reconsider that stance, but we aren’t.

    We all understand you're not Devine's biggest fan. But given the squad we have, who would you instead have in the matchday squad who meets the EFL's 'club developed player' criteria?

    Just to remind you, to have a full matchday squad, requires 1 player to be a cdp. And saying it's a silly rule wouldn't be an answer!

    Why can't Donaldson be our 'Club development player' . He came through out system until his release at U'16's level ????
