Needs to get a yellow Saturday and then sit out against Man City's kids in trophy game on Tuesday.

As soon as we went 1-0 up he should have gone 5-4-1, stifled the game and got back on the bus with an away win.
Save the attractive , entertaining performances for the home games.

Very fair comment that. We have seen it so many times at home, we need to do the same.

The EFL have rumbled players doing that and the trophy game has now got its own disciplinary system. So if you get sent off in trophy game you miss the next trophy game. Similarly if Vaughan were to get booked on Saturday he would miss league games but be free to play in trophy.

Can't make a comment either way mate as I've never attended one of Drury's training sessions. Obviously you have.

What's this fixation with having a defensive holding midfielder?
I actually agree with you in that I would also like one and AOC could do the job but not all teams play with one.

I think you need one sitting whilst the other is further afield. Bit like Doyle behind Jones. Liddle behind Knott.

Don't they? I can't think of one successful club who don't have a ball winner in their midfield currently.

On paper we have a couple, they're just not very good. Pretty sure we aren't alone in that respect, especially in L2.

I hope Bowyer is aware, no problem Vaughan getting a yellow ;).

As long as it counts for yellows cards.

Dont think it does though. If Vaughan is booked tomorrow, I think he would miss the next league match instead. I am not stressing about him picking up another booking, wouldnt want him to change how he plays. If he misses a league game, no big deal, would give him chance to rest and re-charge his battery.

That could easily have backfired. If they'd have scored (and watching the way they played, it was inevitable they would have done) we will have wasted one, maybe two, subs and being stuck with 5-4-1 clinging on to a point.

The fact that you're arguing about the lack of control we have in a 4-4-2 or a 433/352 which has also been ineffective is self explanatory.

Can we hold him accountable for recruiting players that aren't suited to any of the above systems?

Donaldson is shite in front of goal. Hold up, work rate, etc decent. Finishing was abysmal.

You obviously missed the Cheltenham game kiddiwink. Oh, he is your mate ain't he. Rose tinted...

But instead we did well to cling on to a 3-2 defeat
