Club expecting an influx of sales for this weekends clash against Colchester; following two fantastic performances at Doncaster and Gillingham.

Collectively, just over 1,050 tickets remain in the Main Stand, Kop and Midland Road.

With just over 1,100 available in the NW corner.

Depending on how quickly these tickets sell, relocating away fans to the Bradford End could be a possibility - using the current away end (last two blocks of MR) as overflow for home fans.

    Don’t miss out.

You’d like to think fans wouldn’t need a cheap ticket incentive to come and support if we need a result.

It's an incentive for casual local fans to watch a game.

A Leeds Utd season ticket holder I work with has bought a ticket and going with his City supporting mates

Why couldn't we just put home fans in the Bradford end, and have support behind both goals?

For the amount of fans that Colchester will bring, we could just house them in the old tea kiosk in the south-east corner!

Totally agree. We should have been selling tickets for the top of the Bradford end, Get our supporters in both ends of the stadium and break this getting turned around bollocks.
Leave the 100 or so Colcheter fans in the end block of midland road, or better still stood on Midland road.

If we are getting high demand for home tickets we should house the away fans in the Bradford end. Not sure how many they are bringing but I wouldn’t have thought that many.

    Logistical nightmare.

    How so? Genuine question.

Is it not so simple as to close off the bottom of holywell ash lane and make access from Valley parade only? As for stewarding, its only the same as when the Mansfield fans were in there last month.

Has there been a larger than usual uptake from Colchester, given the cheap tickets?

Wow. So basically you are saying there could be a 20,000 crowd for this assuming Colchester only bring 500 or so. Is the Bradford end open for home fans ?

Think back to the Charlton game a million years ago when we had to beat them midweek then the finally home game of the season, think it Crystal Palace.

Charlton had the top then city the bottom of the Bradford End.

    Done!!

    PS....colchester will bring 150 tops

Here you go, ‘Colchester had an average away attendance of 290, with the club finishing 15th place in the 2021/22 EFL League Two table, picking up 55 points from 46 games.

There was no average away attendance figure for the 2020/21 season due to the coronavirus pandemic preventing fans going to games.

The average away attendance Colchester United had for the 2019/20 season was 321’.

In respect of Home tickets sold. Then is there an update after last nights stylish victory @Bradford End@Bradford End I would have thought some more could be sold on the back of that?
