Cheap tickets for Colchester (h)

I would love it , if we came out played sparkling football and won by a comfortable margin. My scrappy 1-0 is for the 3 points, lets close that gap to the auto's, by any means possible. if we can entertain on the way, happy days.
The fans need to crank up the volume and the players need to perform in front of this big crowd.

looks to be heading that way Dave, other than a few blocks in the top of Norman Corner, most blocks have just a few left on sale and quite a few blocks completely sold out.
It just goes to show the potential of this club, under the right ownership.

 

Unless we see major changes to ground allocation for away fans, a record that is unlikely to be broken Dave?

The only areas now with 2 seats together are 2 blocks of the upper North West stand. All other blocks only have the odd single seat.

 

There’ll be a few thousand ST holders who won’t show up as is the norm, so even the tickets do sell there won’t be more than 13 or 14k in attendance.

 

Even with those season ticket holders not attending there will be more than 14,000 in attendance tomorrow, try a bit of positivity @bantamlad92 .

 

Looks like some good sales this afternoon with all of the main stand lower sold out, middle 3 blocks of the Kop now sold out and block D of Midland Road. If sales were like this 24 hours ago I would imagine they would have moved the away fans to open up the rest of E and F & G.

 

No chance unfortunately mate. People seem to be getting a bit hysterically carried away.

There were only ever about 3-4k £5 tickets on offer (Capacity less STs, TLD, away end, seg blocks, etc) and only 65-70% of them have been sold with tickets remaining in most areas of the ground.

Most home games during the winter have had a real figure of about 10-12k in attendance so you add on the extra couple thousand and you’re not getting above 14k territory.

All this talk of 20 is comical fantasy and unsubstantiated

So in essence your suggesting if the club have sold 20,000 which the stadium plan suggests we have, 6,000 who have purchase tickets will not attend, I can't agree with that, unfortunately as the final attendance is calculated with season ticket holders included the total attendance figure will not be accurate but those in attendance will have a pretty good idea from those who do attend.
I don't think anyone has commented with regards 20,000 being sustainable.

I'll bet the seats in front of me are empty like they always are even though you can never purchase a ticket for there for home games.
