Harsh on oteh. Leading the line I. League two when he’s raw and clearly not ready yet.
Our recruitment is being shown up in the top half of the pitch. Inundated with midfielders but no one really up top. tactics now less than ideal and we are not going to score many goals , let alone create chances

I know it's painful to watch at times but, had Paudie tackled, or Mellor or Oteh put good chances away at weekend, and Paudie done similarly today, then we'd be 3 points ahead of 4th placed Crewe with 11 points from 5 games unbeaten. Bowyer's position would not be in question. We can't afford to keep missing easy chances. We've been doing it all season. We've had about 10 one-on-ones go over the bar this season and a few against the woodwork. That is where we are lack composure. No hard training between now and Sunday. Just spend a few hours on hitting balls into the box and have EVERYONE practise first-time shooting. Stop fannying about trying to place it in corners - just blast or head the bloody thing low down the middle. Keep practising until they lose nerves and start doing it right. We've created more chances than opponents and enough to be in 3rd place. We just need some Bambis and snowflakes to get some sodding goals! I'm not too worried about the formation. I just want to see a team on Sunday that looks like its had a rollicking and some shooting practice! That's the main problem - sort it out!

Truth is, and not meaning to be disrespectful, Carlisle were bottom three for a reason yet we were no better than them today, and that has pretty much been the same for most of our season. I'd expect a team looking for promotion to win that game today, no ifs or buts. Chances are we could just as easily finish mid table as finish 3rd, it really is an appalling division. Worryingly its hard to get the fans back onside the longer this perceived poor football goes on. There are mitigating circumstances, what with todays illness and various injuries, but fans are losing patience now. The football is terrible and goals and results are drying up. Couple that with the Doyle scenario and its a timebomb waiting to go off.

No, I didn't go. But players have been missing chances that should have been in the back of the net all season under different formations. I sometimes wonder how BCFC manage to keep turning strikers with good records into myopic banjo-carrying rednecks that can't see barn doors, only for them to move on and become strikers again. Something must be going wrong in our training. We seem good with keepers and useless with goalscorers for some reason. Just maybe, we should not be looking for a new player or new manager but looking to train to overcome our deficiency for once.

Would have been better not giving an interview at all
Blaming the illness sweeping the club is a poor excuse (an excuse to hide behind) our form was no better before
The fans today left him in no doubt what they thought and should form and results not improve the ill feelings will only spread
His persistent setting up of teams to not loose is gradually costing our chances of promotion not only are we loosing sight of an automatic spot teams are breathing down our neck for a play off spot those who claim we are only a point off an auto spot should consider we can't buy a goal at the minute never mind a win and teams like Northampton Plymouth and Scunthorpe are only a couple of wins away Inflexibility and refusal to change will eventually secure us another season in this league
2 weeks ago I felt we shouldn't be changing the manager but after that dire performance today I feel we have nothing to loose we have the players capable with or without injuries of securing at least a play off spot we just need a manager who isn't scared of inferior opposition and the guts to go for a win
Who that may be I have no idea but the club need to act quickly and stop rewarding failing managers

A massive amount of anger and frustration on all the various chat sites I’m looking at tonight. If you were going to part with your manager you’d want to do it at the beginning of the window not when he’s signed more players. If you let him spend the Doyle money (saving on wages and possible transfer fee), you have to give him the season barring the absolutely catastrophic happening. Just saying.

Bowyer didn’t need to radically change his system if that’s the one he favoured. But why not ask A O’C to step into midfield when we were attacking rather than standing at the back keeping his two colleagues company marking the one man. That’s what adventurous coaches do. He might even have told Paudie to man mark their dangerous player, Thomas. I might even have thrown Paudie up top for a while since he’s scored a few headers. But his miss with his feet probably suggests that might not be the best idea. But we should have been as desperate to score against that lot as we would have been if losing. I conclude Bowyer was reasonably happy with a point.

We have nothing to loose by changing the Manager. For certain we are not making automatic with GB. So its play-offs at best and nothing convinces me these players can suddenly be play-off winners.

Contrast twisting now and the spring you can get from that and with ths opportunity to reconcile with the Leagues top hitman. ? I have championed Stuart to give us back the feelgood factor; bring the players and fans together and at the third time lucky deliver for us. No other manager brings that and good football. I acknowledge the nay sayers to this idea but we need a unique guy for a unique job !

Vaughan wasn't fit to be anywhere near the ground never mind on the pitch
A substitution by GB to try and restore the fans faith (which back fired)
Mcarten replacing Oteh at half time would have been a better option
But then again we are only the fans

The Vaughan sub did sound like desperation, in Bowyer's post match interview, he said Vaughan declared himself fit although Bowyer thought differently, and with time running out he asked Vaughan if he was OK for 15 as he put it, looking and hearing from other fans how were there today Vaughan will be lucky to be fit for Sunday.

I totally agree, theres absolutely nothing to lose by getting rid. I mean who can complain should we replace a dinosaur in Bowyer with a manager who can get the best out of the good players we have. I'm not sure stuart is the answer though despite me loving watching his team play when he was last here.
