    I may be wrong, but I suspect the weekend friendlies will be more first team players playing and the midweek ones against Brighouse, Eccleshill and Avenue will be more likely younger lads and trialists.

    Is it not Andy Taylor that played for Bolton last season? The one we had on loan a few years ago. If it is hes early 30s, could do worse with his experience. Always thought he was pretty good

    It's not like we've got John Terry on trial is it. Most of these players are nobody's who are happy to make up the numbers. It'll allow them a bit of match practice and let them build up their fitness whist they consider their next moves. A no lose situation.

    Bowyer has not brought in 14 trailists with the hope of signing them all up. Some of them would have been brought in for the sole purpose of us being able to field a team whilst the rest of the lads rest up.
