Bit of a sweeping statement, all those who voted Brexit are racist and old, maybe the referendum was lost because many of the young (who are now accusing us oldies of selling their future) should have got off their arse's put their Xbox's down and walked down to the poling station put their tick against remain on the referendum form hardly rocket science.
Voting was something that was always drilled into people of my age use your vote because if you don't you can't bellyache about the result, although the young seem to be doing a good job of blaming others.

    Maybe they were Bronco

But every leave voter i have met apart from a few in Leeds who were my age anyway, are all racist and old. Its not a sweeping statement at all. Its an observation.

We wont be leaving the EU so maybe spend your retirement doing something for yourself.

As I say nothing positive to add, just hang around until you can add your negative comments, you really should stop dwelling on the past.

So the low unemployment isn't down to Brexit but Honda leaving the UK isn't lol. Don't worry mate, uncle Nigel will soon have us out of this mess, What is it now, six weeks since the start of his new party? And look at the popularity already, despite all the efforts to discredit him. I shall be voting in the next week or so, i'm actually looking forward to it.

Its a promise - though if someone said remainers are nazi's or something id have to speak out.

But im just going to have a laugh with you all i cant be bothered with it. I will vehemently oppose leaving the EU, Im a proud Brit and a proud European citizen. But i dont care what anyone says on either side anymore its tiresome.

i do agree with your last sentence, it has become tiresome. Farage has built all this momentum on the back of the sheer incompetence of others and that sums up the state of British politics. If he does well in the elections then they only have themselves to blame for this mess.

I'd class myself as been young and some the attitudes of my generation and the people you call racist probably weren't but folk are so keen to jump and shout racism.

I saw an example on facebook about a group of lads who had gone to Salts School with a gun - the post described the group as arab lads. Then you have 30% percent of the comments screaming racist because of the way they were described, that's not racist and it's just a description.... Just as I am a white male.

Some of it is PC gone mad.

You are a white male yes but in the UK thats a majority ethnic group. If you lived in say Zimbabwe you would probably feel persecuted to a degree when the majority ethnic group refers to a group of criminals as white. As though that has any relevance to the reason the crime was committed.

Then at the same time I think its ridiculous to kick off about it because it makes life quite sterile. Throughout life we will all be offended, get over it, as long as no-one actually is hurt or overtly persecuted. The mantra nothing is true and everything is permitted is one I like to use in these instances.

It will be interesting to see if the remainers keep supporting the EU in the future, For 30 years it has been controlled and followed centre left policies which they have favoured, But after recent elections the EU will be controlled by the centre right and the right wing parties and support right wing policies going forward which may not be to their liking

We’ll be out of the EU, and more importantly, the UK will be broken up. The latter is what bothers me most, we’re already a laughing stock, imagine how we will be viewed when the inevitable break up will happen. It’ll be the the leave voters that will be to blame if this happens, leaving the EU will seem insignificant in comparison to this.

Lose Ireland and we lose most of our Irish,EU problems and save huge amounts of cash,
Lose Scotland and we lose all the moaning and bellyaching and save a huge amount of cash
Lose Wales and who would notice or care?
Firmly tongue in cheek but the break up would swiftly be followed by potential bankruptcy of these nations and then rejoining the UK to save them at huge cost to the English taxpayer, And of course it would be the English to blame as usual despite huge subsidies

You’ve got it all sussed out yet again, like leaving the EU - dead easy.

There’s more to this than money though. The long standing cohesion and collective strength of our smaller parts combined. Our standing on the world stage will take another nose-dive if we can’t even keep our county together. It’s also a typical English attitude of some to dismiss the other countries that form the UK and what they bring to the table, no wonder there is some momentum against this perceived view, by many in the other parts of the UK.
