He had a couple of decent link ups with Ridehalgh in the second half but not enough and I would have hooked him 10 minutes earlier as well.

Exactly my thoughts LB, again for me he didn't do enough, lacking energy, determination and quite slow.
He seems to have been like this all season so far.
No one expects him to score the amount of goals that he got last season, think he knows that he has no competition.

Funny game football. I thought it was two very even teams and no city player was under a 7. Cook, to me, wasn't poor. Just well marked by three centre halves. Couldn't fault his effort.

Ash Taylor looked pretty good to me. Can't see why he was written off.

The kid is a breath of fresh air even if what he's trying to do doesn't come off he chases the ball down and when he gets the ball again the kids at it.

 

Up for the fight right from the off today.
Forced their defender in to a mistake in the first few minutes and could have punished them very early.

 

The language emanating from a family car going up Valley Parade immediately post-match, both from the male front seat passenger and the female driver, was rather fruity and aggressive. I thought senior people trying to drive away through a big football crowd would show a bit more patience towards the departing crowd. Not just for politeness but also for their own security.

Not that I recognised anybody in the car or anything.

 

There wasn't a problem until that idiot came from behind and smashed his hand against the wing mirror, if I'd have been fitter than I am you'd have seen him on his back, when fans were looking back we gestured no problem we kept our distance but that clown seemed he was not prepared to do as others were doing.
I can assure you my safety was never in doubt new hip or otherwise.
I believe you were walking as near the pavement as possible as I heard a shout of Dave.

Fairly certain it was handball at the time on their defender when he jumped towards the end of the game as it was about 30 feet from me, seen the pics and it was certainly a handball but don't think there's a chance the ref would have seen it between the two Wrexham players and Cook, but the lino had no excuse.

Although, again as it was right infront of me, Stubbs took out Mullin in the first half when he slid in and got none of the ball. Ref seemed the type to not give anything unless it was ridiculously obvious.
