Agree. Said same to my lad, they were very average, seemed very shaky in defence and obviously rely on their strength in depth of quality forwards

One thing that spoiled the day for me (as well as the pathetically inept referee) was that fecking “Parky special one” banner someone made. Whoever thought that was a good idea needs a lifetime ban handing to them

I thought we more than held our own against a team that will be probably be promoted come the end of the season and with a touch of luck we may have won it .......... still 4 games after Hughes and every performance has been positive rather than the shite we had to endure.

No signs of any tits going up in the foreseeable. Record breaking turnover, crowds etc.
We've always had a large amount of floating fans who turn up when its going well and then aren't seen when we were crap, which was most of the time. Same at most clubs I'd imagine. Since the takeover that's obviously all gone out the window and everyone wants in.
For a fan like me who's been supporting the club for over 30 years its weird, can be annoying at times but the overriding feeling now is that we have hope now, and before we had none. Simple as that.

The Wrexham fans saved the club twice in the last 30 years. And stepped in financially numerous other times too.
2005 when Hamilton tried to take the ground and kill the club and then again 2011 when we raised the bond money, in under 24 hours to stay in the National League. The supporters trust then took over the club, cleared our debts and put us debt free, got the ground back and basically made the club primed and ready for a takeover. If that's not backing your club I don't know what is.

As for the game I have no idea. If we turn up then it should be a belter. We generally have turned up away from home, the shit show at Stockport aside.
Mullin is deceptively quick but is still not 100%, he's not far off though. He's due some goals anytime now... Fletcher I doubt will start as he had no pre season and is still getting match fit but what a player, just oozes class and could easily still play at a higher level.
If you can defend wide areas and set pieces that's key against us. We also don't enjoy the high press. We like a ball over the top for Mullin. You know what Parky is like, it isn't pretty sometimes..
Looking forward to visiting again, last time I came to Bradford was yonks ago when we were last in the league and I can't remember what the score was but I think we lost.

 

People are free to make any observation or comment or opinion they wish. Likewise that choice is out there to be commented on.
And my comment to that is if anyone chooses to make a negative comment about a near full house crowd in league 2 then I think their priorities in life are wrong. It's a 22,000+ crowd in the khazi division, there are no negatives to be found no matter how hard one may search.

You wouldn't have done. It was being passed around at the back of blocks E and F of the lower main stand and the lower NW Corner before it met its end in the Kop.
Giving Parky a round of applause is one thing, but a banner proclaiming the opposition manager as the special one is out of order.
What are the players supposed to make of that when they are turning out for a caretaker manager doing his level best?
It makes us look stupid to the opposition fans too. A dreadful idea.

 

This is the match the lads needs us to get behind them for the full 90+ as only City Fans can. We have 20,000 fans there tomorrow we don’t give up our stadium to anyone, not the media, or the Hollywood boys, or even Parky. Any acknowledgement of our previous manager can be done after the game. Tomorrow we concentrate on our own players, and manager and the players need to know we are the 12/13th man on that pitch.

We really don't want VAR Kev. It's resolved absolutely nothing and we're still better off with the "win some" "lose some" system we have now rather than wait a few minutes now and again to get exactly the same system anyway.

Jesus !!! Cook was battered for 90mins yesterday, he must be bruised from head to toe ! He did a superb job.

 

Have a look at the extended highlights. Nearly every attack we had starts with Cook winning the ball in the air.
