Two game in a row he's looked like an 8/10. Thought Timi looked nervous at times and his positional sense wasn't the best but that will come the more he plays.

You know what else hasn't been mentioned Mark Hughes a proud Welsh man stood on the touch line at 70 minutes clapping with the fans for the full minute while Evans was sat in his seat absolute class!

Bradford in theory is five times that population, not sure we’d take 750 (or not much more if we did) down there.
Onto the match, I thought we handled them well but are continually our own worst enemies with this faffing around at the back.
Half of our problems today were self inflicted, when we did play it more direct and earlier we caused them all sorts of problems getting them on to the back foot.

Evans is somewhat correct in that they did miss a couple of decent chances, but so did we. What he's failed to recognise is the quality of our defending and the fact that if your game plan is relentlessly predictable and one dimensional - big hoof into the box - then it becomes easier to defend because there's no surprise element.

He was banned by the FA for 20 months. He was also prosecuted for tax evasion and given a 12 month prison sentence suspended for 2 years.
So yes he was banned and has a criminal record to go with it.

He’s had some decent achievements in the past, but for me he’s yesterday’s man. He can still get a team to over achieve I’m sure a bit like Derek Adams. But when it’s a bigger, more impatient fan base a few servings of the crap they serve up and suddenly it’s a toxic atmosphere that players simply can’t thrive in as we’ve seen first hand.

Not sure why anyone would want a man who plays dated football and would divide the fanbase.

I wouldn’t trust that fu@king fat slug if he told me tomorrow was Saturday.
He spouts what he thinks will get the fans on his side.
I guarantee within 5 minutes of the kick off his little puppet Raynor will be all arms out wide in mock dismay at a decision they don’t get.
And then all innocent when the 4th official tells them to calm down.
It’s no secret I hate with a passion the fat tw@t and his assistant and everything they stand for,

However,he knows the crowd hate him and direct all their anger and vitriol towards him(guilty as charged) and this seems to deflect the pressure off his players.

His record against us(for all the teams he’s managed) is as good as it gets and he seems to have got this group of players playing for him even if it’s not pretty and full of the dark arts.

Biggest test of the season so far.
Without a big big proper local derby game(Harrogate meh) this is the game I’d like to win most

They need to be up for this game from the start because I can guarantee 100% that the Stevenage players will.

Please dont let me down MH and the players.

    Not exactly.

They would like to make it physical. Evans would LOVE to make it physical. Imagine him - come on, we're all in this together, backs to the wall, we'll show them.

If we go in to fight with them then we play into their hands.

Start Wright for me and get at them with pace. Get ahead and stay ahead.

And we've got Walker to come back! My word...what a squad. Great to get a clean sheet today, especially with a different centre back pairing. I thought Timi did very well. No nonsense - different type of player to Crichlow. Platt seems to be growing each game. Can't help but think, that the confidence our midfield and keeper have in our defence, lets us play much better as a team. More to come from Wright I think too - growing in confidence each time I've seen him, and today he pretty much made that position his own to throw away. A goal and an assist, plus some sensible play at the end, not to mention standing up to some big hairy arsed full/centre backs against him. Don't need to say anything about Cook. Well done lad!
First time for a long time that I'm in a very good mood post match (even though we've won the last two, it felt as though we were lucky - tonight I'm gloating that we deserved to win that game hands down.)

I think the ref was okay. Bit biased in our favour tbh. Surprised Stevenage didn’t get a pen at some point in the game as there was many times where the ball was bouncing around in our box an I thought it had hit a defenders arm. Halliday was unlucky with how it panned out but it was a second yellow. No arguments about that. I am glad the ref picked up on the Stevenage Left back’s throw ins. He was doing it throughout the first half but no one seemed to notice for some reason

No BB, they were the better team unless you think forards are there to score and defenders are there to defend.

I was really surprised he didn't book their keeper. His behaviour amounted to dissent.

I could discuss refereeing all day.
Some of it is truly shocking.
They stop free kicks being taken because a team has taken it a foot away from the right place but completely ignore throw ins that gain 10 to 15 yards advantage on a regular basis.
They are human so will obviously make mistakes but
just getting the basics right would be a start

agreed to a point but do you really think this team has really got going yet ???? I suggest we have been playing well within ourselves so once we do get going then we may look like a different team again
