I'd normally agree but against Stockport we were really quiet. It'd help if all those who want to make a noise were together I think

An opportunity to make a real marker for the season tomorrow. An opportunity to make amends for the poor form in last few home games. Which team will turn up? 3-1 City. Come on :)

Yeah I agree, the atmosphere has certainly declined since the split at the top of the kop.

No but you have to have exciting football to the lift the crowd. Out home performances have been as dull as dishwater in the main

Not conducive, for sure. Other clubs are the opposite. Their FANS support their team vocally in most instances.

    Preferable, but not essential.

A good fan base that's proud of their support will be vocal even watching gibberish football.

We've been there ourselves, making a lot of noise when we're playing badly against basement sides.

We're a bit quieter than we have been in previous years, but I also think we're success starved under Rupp and have lost momentum as a fan base (at home, though signs are improving, certainly in terms of ticket sales and the success we're seeing).

I'd like to see us be loud at home without encouraging or accommodating annoying fans who want to invade the pitch, throw objects, and bring 'pyrotechnics'. That's not atmosphere, and it doesn't add to it, it's just kids being chavs.

Game day. Boom! Buzzing. Wish I could be there but will most certainly be watching from afar.

I'm not buying it Kev. There may be the odd exception but in the main, I'd say the vast majority of football fans are exactly the same when it comes to creating atmosphere.

Did you watch the Tottenham game two weeks ago? They were getting torn to bits at home and by half time they were 2 behind , the crowd really, really got behind them and they won the game in injury time. It can be done as is often the case at VP over the years. It stems from the Kop and
    it’s “new” arrangements.

The point is Dave it’s a different planet whilst playing away these days….. The difference is palpable. Yes winning and being ahead helps , I get that totally.

only 2000 home seats available as i type. well done people of Bradford. Although Northampton are in the top 3, they are not the best draw as far as fans are concerned. come on you yellows, i am buzzing for today and its been a few years since i felt this way.

It’s a real bonus being able to watch Cook score a hat trick today as I really thought Mr Southgate would be whisking him off to Dubai, Englands loss.

Cookie is no fool though. He'd heard that he'd been booked on a flight to Dubai ... but then realised that the rest of Southgate's England squad were 400km away in Qatar so gave back word! ;)
