I said this game was a poor choice for Sky to choose but I didn't think it would be this bad!

 

Brentford have a year option on him, i'd imagine they'll take it with a view to selling him as worst case scenario for them is that they can't sell him and instead loan him out again. Very low risk for them and if he does do well they would retain a sell on clause if they sell him.

 

I agree, it was a very strange choice. A game that had draw written all over it and reason why draw was the joint favourite outcome with the bookies.
Things like this happen every season and unfortunately there's no way of avoiding it, last season against Orient wasn't that bad but it was on the same lines near the end. Ultimately nobody can really complain about it as they would do the same and teams have had 10 months to avoid being the victim of it.

 

Agree what a topsy turvy season it's been, Hughes the guy who got us to a play off last season has us going down a completely different route even Stevie Wonder could see the players didn't look comfortable with what he was asking them to do.
Alexander comes in and we ask as fans which Bradford City will turn up, as you say Pattison who looked the part in his few games gets a long injury bringing this season to an end, Jake Young comes back (I believe with an injury sustained at Swindon) and never really looked the part, not that I was expecting his goal scoring would match anything like it did at Swindon, we then lose Jamie Walker for months, and Chapman even though he was never going to be a starter under either Hughes or Alexander.
New season Alexander should know who he wants to keep and those who he feels aren't good enough, Sharpe should make us stronger with regards the footballing side of the club, and even though we didn't match last seasons season ticket sales the increase has actually brought in more finance to the club, as I have posted before today if those who haven't purchased a season ticket see us climbing the league and looking like a team that can gain promotion they will attend in numbers even at £25 again adding to the coffers, it really is simple get it right on the footballing side the rest will look after it's self.

- 70 total goals putting him 10th, level with Ham but ahead on fewer appearances

If we get 15-20 out of Cook, 10-15 from Kavanagh, 10 from J. Walker (if back), 5-10 from Pointon, something from Smith & Young, 5-10 from the defenders, and another 10-20 from the rest, especially midfield, we should get up around 70, which would be a good minimum. (Also reduce goals allowed by, say, 10 minimum.) We really need to give the defence a break, by not forcing them to always play whilst worrying that allowing only 1 goal a match dramatically reduced our chance for a win.

No. That’s why he’s being playing ahead of Tomkinson. We are interested in signing him on a permanent.

Personally I don’t think we’ll ever see a fully fit Pattison. I hope I’m wrong as he’s proved he’s a very good player who weighs in with goals, but I just can’t see it given his fragility this season

I hope so Silver as I said yesterday. I have warmed to him over time, especially since his second game after returning. He’s only 21 which is a big advantage.

 

Really enjoyed the lap of appreciation yesterday, it was a nice touch and the players and their families seemed to enjoy it.

On another note, I thought Oyegoke had a great game yesterday, probably his best game for us. Perhaps a chance we’ll make an offer?
