I’ve not read the whole thread and I’m sure I’m not saying anything that anyone else hasn’t said, but on reflection now that the dust has settled, we didn’t do enough over the 90 minutes to deserve 3 points.

First half was absolutely awful, as bad as we’ve played all season. Second half was much better but Lewis still made 2 or 3 brilliant saves after we’d gone 2-1 up. The equaliser was coming and we didn’t manage the game well at all. In the last 8 minutes the ball didn’t end up in Gillingham’s corner once. Osadebe tried it but but it was soon back in our half.

Very frustrating but we only have ourselves to blame.

And if what Neil Harris said is right, why on earth are some fans abusing Gillingham players in the warm up. I don’t get it. No wonder their bench were milking it and their number 23 cupping his ears to the Sunwin Stand. We really don’t help ourselves both on and off the pitch sometimes.

 

Why what did Harris say, getting stick from the home fans sat around the dug out is not unique to Valley Parade.

 

Right or wrong, this happens at every single club at every level up and down the country. Some fans like to taunt players etc, other fans don't. That's football, that's life. We aren't unique

Nowt like a bit of goading mate, we went to Wigan the match Robinson scored that scorcher, Will Grigg was warming up just to the side of us and we were giving him some stick he gave as good as he got that day nothing nasty just good banter, telling him if he couldn't get in the Wigan starting 11 he might as well retire, or come and play for a team that had more traveling fans that Wigan had home fans, he said (amongst other things) your lot couldn't afford my wages on reflection he might have been right.

When we went to Fleetwood on New Year's Day under Stuart, McAleny wasn't having none just kept his head down miserable git, maybe that's why he choose Salford instead of us .

 

Dieng scored 14 goals last season. Fantastic return for a CM. Just the type of player we need.
