Yep, and because the club is bringing in tourism to Wrexham for the first time in donkeys years and the is todays hit, nobody seems to care too much. Be interesting to see how much of the levelling up fund has actually ended up with private business.

Never gonna happen Kev, would cost a fortune just for to purchase the land and adjacent properties. Even then I'm pretty sure the council would never pass it for various reasons, shutting off roads, impact on other properties, the fact the area struggles with 20,000+ crowds.

The levelling up money shouldn’t be used to fund a football club. I might turn a blind if it was a loan. Mainly because they are competing in a nation wide competition where lots of clubs could do with a financial boost. That is not levelling up it is favouring one club at the expense of another and therefore one hand on the scales.

It is bad enough the super rich are buying clubs and “donating” money that somehow is classed as income thereby getting round the regs. These two shylarks are laughing at how easy it all is.
We might not be fashionable enough to warrent such attn. be glad be very glad. We are doing it the hard way. We sell 14,000 season tickets and it bumps up to 20,000 on big match days but we are sustainable.

Never heard of brown paper envelpoe's, apparently used quite a lot in business.
Bradford council do not know their arse from their elbow on a really good day and they have very few of them.

    The wonders of SKY camera's
Rather not have it if the game is stopped for 5 minutes to decide if someone is off side by a gnats nifter.
Was it in use at Wembley, when Millwall scored. I still believe that goal was offside.

The one time it could have been useful it wasn't available. I am with you on it being offside.

Wasn't in use for the 2017 final, a few years before VAR. It was offside, but those 5 minutes to get the right decision would have kept us in that game.....

If the decision is with us or against us, i would still rather the game was not stopped for such long periods, as can happen with the VAR and they do not get every decision correct.
The ball is in play on average about 65 minutes per 90 i believe and been less in some cases.
Could you imagine the uproar if you had your subsidised opera performance halted every now and again, so they could decide if your tights were the correct colour.
Let the match official do their job, rightly or wrongly.

If VAR can't make a decision in 30 seconds just forget it, go with whatever the ref called and get on with the game

Var has very little impact on the "ball in play" time of a game and I'm not sure if the details are available but I'd suggest 65 minutes isn't bad compared to some of our games this year that feel like it was a lot, lot less.

I was being generous 55 minutes in the premier league this season.
The officials are not brilliant , but let them do their job, even bloody Dryesdale. If we have to use VAR , then time limit it and go back to the on field decision.

I agree that var isn't quite for for purpose. My only point was that it doesn't have a huge effect on the "ball in play" time of a game.
