I said when he came in and I still think the same now, that he won't be here come the summer. I think he has no idea how to get a working tactic with this squad or an idea that fits enough to get some form.

I don't think he gets sacked unless form completely dives off a cliff, but I could see him walking in the summer if far too many of this dross is still around and the budget is cut. Going to be very interesting to see what happens with the Lewis and seemingly inevitable Young money. If it's spent or saved.

This season is in a road to nowhere based on that. We did miss a couple of chances but that would paper over the basic play and limitations of our play.

Alexander is looking like a bit of a yes man, another mr average appointment with a track record of recent failures at small clubs.

Have some sympathy though as he seems to have been dealt a rubbish hand unless the club will get some much needed quality onboard and get shut of the dross senior players. They won't though, we will plod on and rely on renewed optimism in the summer to sell another batch of season tickets to the ever loyal supporters, and if slow uptake no doubt Alexander will be the fall guy.

No way is this on Alexander. It’s about the shambles that has gone on previously. GA needs time. These players aren’t capable of taking us out of the division.

GA is part of that shambles, that shambles being a nonsensical succession of managerial appointments.

 

GA has the same issue all our recent managers have; he isn't being set up for success. An absent owner and incompetent CEO, with a backdrop of no real long term football plan or ambition to guide the club. And he's inherited a squad that was assembled and coached to play a style of football that's as different to his own preferred style as it could be. I'll be honest, I don't think he'll be here for next season.

 

Looked off the pace. He'd played 240 minutes from 7 appearances for Plymouth and you could tell. A few balls he'd have set off that bit earlier too, a few runs he'd have timed better with some sharpness, but didn't really affect the play.

 

That was a disgrace to football tonight. Absolutely soul destroying kick and run football that all of us on here could coach a group of five year olds to do. This is supposed to be a professional manager and a group of professional players yet they have the nerve to serve up that garbage.
