Again, you've got it spot on, we should be thankful now that remainers from all parties voted down any of May's deals or we, as you say, would be locked in to something no better than brexit in name only...

That basically says it all, finish their career in politics and screw the party, these people who take the responsibility of public office should realise why they are there, unfortunately they forget as my MP Judith Cummings who's constituents voted did not support any vote that was on offer.

John Major plans to join Gina Miller in the legal action to stop Boris from proroguing Parliament.

Yes, the very same John Major, who prorogued Parliament in 1997 to avoid the publication of an embarrassing report into the 'cash for questions' scandal involving his government, do as I say not as I do, what a w****r.

Sad day for this country, the very cohesion of our country is at massive risk. And that’s just for starters. I won’t be forgetting who is to blame.

Could not possibly be any worse than May who has been inept throughout her career in Politics, BTW all these expert reporters and commentators and remainers who are trying to stop a no deal through stopping the possible proroguing of parliament have missed one other way Boris could ensure that we leave the EU without a deal, Should Labour or the remainers on his own side call a vote of confidence then Boris would engineer a defeat and call an election meaning that Parliament would be closed down and all MPs seats be declared vacant and parliament for at least six weeks taking us past the leaving date and out of the EU, Boris would not fear losing to Corbyn because he feels he would win with a larger majority,

Unfortunately many people hold the same opinion. The country is a total mess with Boris Corbyn and Farage as political leaders time for a realignment

Well you do not win a scholarship first to Eton and then another to Oxford University without some intelligence, Do not forget that unlike others who could pay to go to these places Boris had to pass scholarship exams,
Of course his comment that the ability to look stupid can be a great advantage when getting your own way in negotiations seems to have been missed by most

He won scholarships which are provided by the schools free to those of outstanding ability he did not pay like others at Eton or Oxford, Although the whole family are well educated and have done well for themselves

And how with a majority of 1 even with the unionist is he going to get a deal through Parliament even if he can get a deal with the EU

He won’t be allowed to and labour will bring a vote of no confidence maybe even before Parliament breaks and there are a lot of Tories who hate him. There could be an election in October

If a deal cannot get through Parliament then no other choice but to leave without a deal. Boris has pledged now so be interesting to see what happens.

Boris has an ace card up his sleeve if that happens. It is called Farage. If they make a pact for the sake of Brexit then the Tories will win any election with a huge majority backed up by the Brexit Party in Parliament.

I don't think Corbyn would be, but someone with more charisma and ability to deal with the inevitable media pelters left wing leaders get would be, as his policy platform is sound. We've had nearly a decade of Tory rule now and frankly I think they've reached the point every administration does where they run out of ideas beyond those to keep themselves in power. It's time for a change once Brexit is done with.

I just don’t really see what will happen between now and October. Isn’t the European Parliament on summer break for September? What can we realistically expect to change on the Brexit front between now and our revised exit date.

If they bring a vote of no confidence after the holidays when they return then a no deal brexit is guaranteed and cannot be stopped

Wouldn’t surprise me if they called for one tomorrow there would be a fair chance of it. If the remainers in the Tories pur their conscience before their jobs
