Just the other day, I heard someone say that, for most, becoming PM is the beginning of what they wanted to achieve. For Johnson, it’s all he wanted to achieve...About right.

A couple of years ago, his father summed him up well. To paraphrase, Stan the Man said something to the effect that Boris isn't concerned with doing the right thing; he isn't concerned with the effect on the country; he isn't concerned with the impact on the Tory party; he isn't even concerned with what his family thinks. He has one criterion for most things and that's what's the best thing for Boris himself. His sister said something very similar and equally damming around the same time.

    It's very worrying.

Dreadful for the country. I hope I'm proved wrong, however I believe it will be a disaster.

Sad day for this country, the very cohesion of our country is at massive risk. And that’s just for starters. I won’t be forgetting who is to blame.

Could not possibly be any worse than May who has been inept throughout her career in Politics, BTW all these expert reporters and commentators and remainers who are trying to stop a no deal through stopping the possible proroguing of parliament have missed one other way Boris could ensure that we leave the EU without a deal, Should Labour or the remainers on his own side call a vote of confidence then Boris would engineer a defeat and call an election meaning that Parliament would be closed down and all MPs seats be declared vacant and parliament for at least six weeks taking us past the leaving date and out of the EU, Boris would not fear losing to Corbyn because he feels he would win with a larger majority,

Intelligent? You mustn’t have ever heard him talk.

He’s a populist figurehead, tories clutching at straws. A ‘likeable buffoon’ etc. Sadly, it’ll probably work though, especially in this day and age. The people round him will be doing all the work and plastering over all his fck ups.

The BBC breakfast team with their usual biased anti Boris this morning.

Instead of a fair debate about Boris Johnson, they had some SNP clown and Chuka Umuna sat together ripping Boris apart in unison. What a joke that Umuna is, is it 3 or 4 parties he has been in recently?

Unfortunately many people hold the same opinion. The country is a total mess with Boris Corbyn and Farage as political leaders time for a realignment

Well you do not win a scholarship first to Eton and then another to Oxford University without some intelligence, Do not forget that unlike others who could pay to go to these places Boris had to pass scholarship exams,
Of course his comment that the ability to look stupid can be a great advantage when getting your own way in negotiations seems to have been missed by most

He won scholarships which are provided by the schools free to those of outstanding ability he did not pay like others at Eton or Oxford, Although the whole family are well educated and have done well for themselves

Thank god we have a Proper right winger at the wheel. About time the Tories were dragged to the right after Cameron and the disastrous May.

Now we can finally get on with Brexit and build relations with our friends over the pond.

And before folk shout me down I challenge anybody to offer me a reason why Corbyn would be any better.

And how with a majority of 1 even with the unionist is he going to get a deal through Parliament even if he can get a deal with the EU

He won't get a deal through. Labour don't want a deal for their own selfish, political gain. They would rather the country suffers so they can finger point and points score at the next election.

We will leave without a deal IMO.
