This should be interesting which are your favorite guitar riffs :
    Slash, Sweet Child of mine.
    Clapton, Crossroads.
Randy Rhoads, Mr Crowley, Crazy Train.
    Jimmy Page, Stairway to Heaven.

Could go on forever on this...

Crazy Train is a great riff. I would go with Kashmir or Whole Lotta Love from Jimmy Page.

For Tony Iommi I would go with Children of the Grave or Symptom of the Universe.

Les Paul, That good they named the guitar after him and helped invent the Looper and other effect pedals, quite simply the master of the modern guitar

Strange choice. The original of Apache was by the Shadows. And it's a tune not a riff.

Yup. There is a memorable acoustic fingerpicked opening chord sequence, but it's not a riff. Also a memorable arpeggiated chord sequence on electric 12 string , between verses but, again, I wouldn't call it a riff.
Arguably there is one riff in Stairway - the A5, G5, F5 motif behind the 'And as we wind on down the road' section. But it's certainly nowhere near being one of the 'best ever guitar riffs'.

Yes, he was a master. But where are the riffs in that? I hear lots of single note soloing but no riffs.

I saw her at her first public appearance as a 13 year old with an acoustic guitar, playing Alanis Morrisset's 'One Hand in My Pocket' at the Tuesday night jam session in The Peel, behind Bradford Uni. Sadly, now demolished.
Good guitar playing on that clip. But no riffs

Nice arpeggiated chords. Not a riff though.

Trevor, do you even understand what a riff is?
There are no riffs in Come Up and See Me.
This is the third or fourth musical example you have suggested that contains no riffs whatsoever!

Layla - Derek & the Dominos!

Often wrongly credited to old Slowhand himself but it was really played by Duane Allman
