    I think there will come a time for a group to form we all can get behind. It should be the Trust, but I don’t think that’s going to happen now.

    It has to be short and to the point Jon. Too many words/letters and it won't have any impact because people will struggle to read it all. A simple "RUPP & RAHIC OUT" will suffice.

    Keep us posted. I am sure most of have given what we thought what we thought would be needed covered by a spread. If more is needed I am sure that like me, there are many who will give again just to make sure. Park will lead the way.

    Gotta be soon as the clocks go back Sunday so it's only going to keep getting darker by the time you want to do it. And with the majority of people on here and in the ground being elderly they won't see the thing

    If his statement had been along the lines of “Edin Rahic will not be returning to the club. I have bought his shares and will be appointing a Chairman to run the club”, then people would have sat up.
    But his statement gives us nothing new

    To be honest, I'm not sure it's a 'great' idea. But it's an actual action at a time where people are challenging everyone else to take actual action.

    The support this has got in terms of how quickly the target has been met makes it clear how some people feel.

    If @SimonW@SimonW and others feel it's all just an ego-massage for those who donated, fine, that's his prerogative. But for me, people simply rallied to a cause because they wanted to be heard.

    That's how ALL movements start, and once movements start, who knows what.

    There will always be people saying "it won't go any further", that's a natural (rather reserved) reaction that's happened over and over and over again throughout history. It's called pessimism. It's well documented in every single protest movement ever, and it's often shouted rather loudly.

    But inertia just won't do in our current situation, so whatever the reaction to this particular step, let's just keep driving forward.

    For me, I think it’s a great idea because now that the target has been met, there is nothing to stop the protest starting with the banner.

    You only have to look at the number of Facebook threads that have opened and inviting people to demonstrate. Neither event went ahead despite over 50 people saying they would.

    That is the problem right there. So many people want change but aren’t prepared to fight for it. If the fly-over does one thing, and shows others they can get involved and not wait for others, then it’s done it’s job.

    As I said, well done for taking the bull by the horns...!
