    as good an idea as doing it Vs Scunthorpe is - that game is 2 months away.

    If it is like season tickets sales people will want to leave it till just before the deadline and then ask for it to be pushed back to give them an extra payday

    Just as hacked off as the rest, but I personally feel that stumping up £750 in donations to fly over the ground will have very short term exposure and zero results. We might as well all agree to a chant at 15:15 or some other time - it will happen and it will pass. It will not change the mind of a business man who has (or is associated with) a significant investment (for them) into our club.
    I believe that the current ownership is wrong, but the club needs to be attractive to buy and also to attract players. I do not understand how the club lost ownership of the ground, which is a serious concern.
    Perhaps the current owners could be persuaded to take the club to the stock market, which will attract no interest but we could each put our hard earned money behind our easy flowing views. This in turn should provide a cash exit for current owners. They do not have to list in London and with enough of a fan base a deciding interest would be a reasonably sure bet. 20,000 fans and other interested parties at average of £500 each is a steady £10M.
    The difficulty will always be Board selection, buy in with the local Council, who could potentially be a significant investor and day to day management.
    The club will currently have a level of income/outgoings which will dictate the available spending capacity. I suppose that the club are listed at Companies House - I have not yet investigated what is available, but I would guess that they publish little real info.

    Looking forwards to a win when the minnows of our league clash.

    Why not just say "I'm not contributing", you could be correct on both counts, fly over the ground will have very short term exposure and zero results, but we have to do something.

    Fans chanting in a footbal stadium, now theres a novel idea.

    No, my first donation said it was processing then I got an email 24 hours later saying it couldn't be processed and to try again. So did that today - so donation of £20 complete.

    A flyover isn't going to solve anything, but that's not the point.

    The point is, feelings are high, anymosity is rife, and people are getting frustrated about feeling frustrated. They're sick and tired of feeling sick and tired. They're waiting for something to kick in.

    A very visual show of the strength of feeling is what's on offer. It's not cheap, which shows people aren't just talking about being unhappy, they're actually willing to pay good money for a poignant spectacle.

    If the fans can be bothered to put a banner on the frigging sky to make their point, that says a lot. The rest is cheap and can be done readily. You can't do something like this just because you conceded some late penalties. You have to commit to wanting to do it, then commit to actually doing it.

    As for the impact it will have, that's down to us. When the funding is complete, I will be sending emails to the EFL Show, and various papers, local and otherwise. I would encourage everyone here to do the same. Get on the radio phone ins, not just Leeds radio, but five live. Look North. Talk about it. Make it mean something.

    The press have already shown an interest in our situation. Let's make the most of it.

    This IS important.

    I'm seriously surprised that you can't remember our 'admin' years when the ground was sold to Gordon Gibb / Flamingo Land Pension Fund and we started renting the ground back? When we sold the fan bar off and the old shop/offices where One In A Million school is now?
