Only option for Edin and Rupp to take any interest Is---

    An empty VP

Would you notice if no one came in your shop or business for a day?
Think about it.. you certainly would

Seems an afternoon without going to the game is too much of a sacrifice for most. People need to get their priorities in order. Boycott ffs!!!

An awful lot of stuff has been tried in the past.

Pink Pigs - Eggs - Small Footballs - Banners - Plane adverts - Walk outs - Chickens (on the pitch) - Beach Balls - Tenis Balls - Stay away. E.g. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11096/10207043/football-protests-we-look-at-various-methods-used-by-fans

There are some really disliked owners in football. If you look at league One, then Charlton, Coventry and Blackpool all spring to mind. However the average attendances for Coventry at 11,964 and Charlton 10,476 although lower than at VP are in the top 6 in this league. The only one that is really low is Blackpool on 3,778. Despite the low attendances at Blackpool and the protests at all three clubs, the owners remain in place!!!!

So I guess the issue is, does protesting really have any significant impact?

Even if Rahic & Rupp were willing to sell, then nobody has identified a credible and willing alternative set of owners.

If you want to protest, then remember it has to be LAWFUL, additionally if it is to take place in the ground, it must not contravene the clubs ground rules, or you face ejection and possible action to prevent you entering the stadium.

Activity that could hurt others, even by accident should be avoided. Think of the impact on children, it can be very frightening if adults start behaving in what they see as a distressing and scary manner!

    Other alternatives you could consider.

    • Political (single issue) Party, standing in elections, would generate publicity even if not elected.
    • Boycott sponsors/write to them expressing your views.
    • Adverts in the Telegraph & Argus + Local Papers.
    • Take in condoms, inflate at a certain agreed time (Maximum embarrassment).
    • Seek lots of publicity in the local media.
It isn’t easy there is no quick fix, and probably little chance of success.

Would there be any legal issues using a plane banner... just thinking back to the drone issues

Which to be fair was probably crowd safety more than anything

Large protest outside the main reception before and after the game?
95% of us have already paid for our tickets so it’s not going to hurt them financially us not going to the game so we might aswell try and get behind the team, as bad as they are.

There was a lot of empty seats around by us yesterday so I think people are already deciding not to bother, though I accept it’s half term for most this week (bizarrely in Newcastle it’s the week after) and I know of at least 3 lads who have season tickets who have gone away on holiday and missed yesterday.

I won’t be at the game on Tuesday due to work or the game vs Pompey due to going to the races and fireworks at Gosforth Park, so at least I’m saved from p1ssing and whinging all the way back up the A1 afterwards. I’ll be gobsmacked if the “actual attendance” is more than 8,000 on Tuesday

It’s the first time in having a ST for 23 years that I decided not to go simply because I decided to do something else. I’ll be there Tuesday but I feel like I’m losing the love for City now. I’m sure there’s plenty of others.
I know most of my group who went yesterday aren’t going Tuesday after witnessing that.

I'd agree with that. The best way to embarrass him would be in front of the sponsors on a match day. Hiring a plane is good but he'd probably give the game a miss. I can't imagine he won't turn up for the remaining home fixtures.

Threaten to form a new club, a club is nothing without it's supporters. A bit like our loved football club being in exile owing to being under occupation unwanted ownership, without us they have nothing. They came here and dismantled everything we were respected for in football.

If you aren't attending a game. Publicise it. Join twitter if you aren't already there.

I will put in a tenner towards a plane.

I will happily walk from North Parade, after a couple of craft ales, to the ground on 3rd November shouting Edin Out. Then turnaround and go back to the pub.

If you don’t attend the games, Edin can quietly get on with it. We need to make it as difficult for him, stop him, show him we have had enough. He has our money from s/ts, so not turning up does nothing. Stop buying at the club shop, bars, kiosks etc. hurts him more. Put pressure on sponsors to complain to him that they ain’t happy & will not be renewing. Don’t attend events put on by Bingley Bantams and the like who support Edin & his ideas and fund raise for the club. Time stand up & be counted folks.

That would certainly make a point but even if every Bantam Talk member stayed away at best it would only drop 1,000 or so, I cant see how we organise it to get everyone to stay away for a designated game.

So when you have driven all the sponsors away and all the supporters groups away, what is your master plan then ? Administration ? Do you really think these groups put money into the club because Edin owns it ? Do you not realise these groups are lifelong City supporters who put money into the club they love to help the club not the owner ???
