But he's lost most of his empire to Belekon. Every month another Oyston property/business goes under the hammer whilst he tries to find £50m.

I am not sure what you are referring to. The Judgment Approved by the court for handing down by Mr. Justice Marcus Smith, primarily deals with ownership of Blackpool FC. There is a 457 paragraphed judgement, which concludes that the Oyston's need to buy out Belekon for a sum of £31.27 million. https://www.judiciary.uk/judgments/vbfa-v-blackpool-fc-properties-ltd-ors/

And Oyston is selling properties and businesses to find that sum.

See if you can get 70 members to chip in for a banner that simply says "Bantam Talk". If you can't then you have your answer.

This is about the club, it really shouldn't be used as a chance to publicise the forum and for what it's worth that would apply to any City related group organising a protest such as the trust or various supporters groups.

The main difference as far as I can see it, is that there was a major ‘falling out’ between two shareholders in Blackpool FC, over financial issues. Unless Rahic and Rupp entered into a comparable legal dispute, then there seems to be little to connect City, to that aspect of the Blackpool saga.

The fans themselves, seem to have failed to bring about the downfall of the Oyston’s, who have doggedly held onto ownership, despite prolonged protests and boycotts.

Indeed the three clubs I mentioned earlier Blackpool, Charlton and Coventry all won yesterday, despite supporters from all three clubs wanting a change in ownership.

Any action taken by City fans, needs to be lawful and effective. Simply repeating tried and failed strategies of other groups of supporters, is unlikely to be successful.

We don't have freedom of speech in the UK so there is nothing to ban. We have a right to express an opinion but with a lot of conditions in place. It is always hard to have a mass peaceful protest without elements of that protest stepping over the line, for example, someone here posted about having banners saying things like 'Go Home' which is getting very close to xenophobic speech which isn't allowed and it can be very easy for what people are chanting to be deemed inciteful (There was a situation with a forum member where his comments at the ground saw things kick off). Anything that does happen see's the organisers of any protest being partly responsible without any ability to prevent it as they aren't in control of others actions

Edin hasn't spent any money on players.

We sold Hanson and Wkye etc to fund the dross we currently have.

Edin and Rupp have done jack shi&e for this club

    If only we could.
Why do you believe they will honour something they promised us fans and Stuart as manager last season, and what sort of money would you be happy spending on several new faces, upward of £1m for 4 quality players, bearing in mind we payed transfer money for the likes if McCarton, Reeves, Jones, Scannell, Doyle, I do hope your right but even yourself has to acknowledge we have been let down in the past so why will/should the Januaries transfer window be different ?.

Ask yourself this. Which quality players, are actually going to want to come to City, if the wage structure doesn’t offer an incentive, the fans are either abandoning the club and/or making it a very hostile place to play in and we are in the relegation zone? Name names!

As I said there may not be any spending in Jan but if you don't time a protest right you can potentially guarantee there won't be and may leave the club in a situation where they can't get rid of them as no-one wants a League 2 club. Unless you manage to find an Arab Oil billionaire who wants to buy it no buyer is going to be doing so just to throw their fortunes down the drain so anyone wanting to come in has to know there are certain financials in place which League 2 will lessen. There is more chance of ousting them as a League 1 club imho than as a League 2 club

So Edin has silenced the Trust & Bingley Bantams by telling them there is money available for new players in January. Could be £1 or £1m...who knows? But given their track record we will end up with 2 new “Bruenkers” & best be happy about it.

Shouldnt you be directing this reply to @City-since-67@City-since-67 Im right behind you, if they were prepared to stump up £1m the factors you have pointed out will obviously come into play for any possible transfer targets.

Having a manager in place well in advance of the window so plans can already be in action should certainly make a difference over the summer. You would hope at this point Hopkin already has a list of targets identified that fit how he wants to play and work has started on bringing them in

As a former Flexicard holder I was branded a traitor for not attending matches. Now, it seems, I'm to be branded a traitor for attending matches. Wish you uber overlords would make your minds up.

Has anything been found to back these claims up except one person saying it on here. I’m not saying it isn’t true but suddenly these numbers are being quoted as fact from one person saying it on here. Last month Mrs Edin was on more than £24k a year and now £24k a year is the true figure.
