A bit of perspective needed here folks!
It’s a point away at the leagues form team, it’s a step nearer the play offs, I don’t care who won and who didn’t, in fact apart from the Newport match results went our way, 8 matches left were on 55 points, I recon 75 points guarantees a play off berth (Parkys team got 7th on 69 Pts) so 24 points to play for 20 maximum needed, probably get in on 73.
so 6 wins 2 draws needed!!

Just one point is bothering me.

From all of our corners and free kicks, their keeper didn't punch or catch a single one. How come we didn't score from one?

Once you have that answer perhaps it's easier to come up with a balanced view on why we concede so many from them.

 

I thought it was a good point against a team in great form. I know there are some like Fordy who go ballistic if we don’t win every game but we finished the stronger side. 16/17 points from the last eight games will probably be good enough for the play offs. Contrary to popular belief we don’t need to win every game. Incidentally how many thought we’d be even near the play offs after McCalls disaster.

 

Today was two points dropped, the fact theyve been on a good run just shows how awful this division is. Both these teams on today's showing should be nowhere near a playoff spot.

 

I thought by now we’d have learned how to pass the ball and build up coherent attacks. Maybe next week...

We are running out of games and far too many teams are above us creating to much pressure on gaining results.

Today isn't a good result because others when against us!!

So, we now much beat Grimsby and Crawley hope all the others from 12th to 7th lose.

We wouldn’t have been near if we’d still kept McCall on. These guys have got us 42 points from 22 games, it’s not a bad effort.

 

Yeah, I do feel we'll fall just short but we have more than a puncher's chance at the moment (unthinkable just 2/3 months ago) so bring it on! Traditionally it's where we do better from going in to the play-offs and we've probably just taken Stevenage out of the equation

 

Reckon we'll struggle to a draw against Grimsby, will need to go on another 5/6 games run after to make it

 

My disappointment is based on today nothing else. Couldn't care less if we'd won 10 on the bounce, today showed as 147 alluded to that we still don't have a squad good enough when it matters.

 

Your expectations are way lower than mine. A decent performance today would have seen us take all three points easily. As it was neither side deserved to win today.

 

I've been saying this for months. It's clear!

I said quote "was a positive for me" no mention of good result you need to read my posts slowly and get the right mindset before replying.
We are quite capable of winning our next two games, if other teams above us slip up that's a bonus but today's result was far from a disaster to any right thinking Bradford City fan.

This is what @Bronco is failing to understand.

The results went against us today and we were not good enough to react. We needed 3 points and failed. That simple really. Now we need to go on a 3-4 winning run to stand any chance in my mind.
