He was seething about the start they gave Plymouth, and with the first half performance in general. He admitted to giving them a roasting at half time

He was moaning about the chances Oteh, Ismail and Pritchard missed.

I would have liked the reporter to have asked about Reeves, i.e. whats the point of him being on the bench if he isnt giving him any minutes. Also, where was Taylor, seems a pointless signing.

Finally, I would have being probing him about whether he is considering recalling Doyle

We are playing Vaughan in the same role as we did Doyle how did that work out?

as said in this thread Vaughan wins his headers but no one o the end of them.

we were clueless today couldn’t string passes together and passed the ball back too many times. We main Plymouth look like a good team

He could make Sterling, Kane and Messi look boring with his football,

All things you would expect in a post match interview, Taylor is certainly a strange situation is he fit, as is Reeves on the bench, would 45 minutes be so detrimental to his steady progress when even Bowyers says the first half was unacceptable, and when does he expect Donaldson back, all very frustrating for a City fan.

Another one of those games where sloppy play has cost us. League 2 is full of teams like us and Plymouth, we're neither good or bad. Both us and them could either go up automatically or finish somewhere like 14th.

Bowyer needs an assistant maybe he's good at man management but tactically he's very poor. Every team we play can pass the ball better and are more tactically aware we need to bin Drury ASAP I believe he's what's holding this team back he's Rahic's man.

We dont create many really good chances. We create quite a few half chances, but not many great ones. Our attacking play is disjointed

Donaldson is a big miss with the way BowyerS likes to play. Its what makes me doubt if Doyle coming back would make any difference because of the way we play. We would need to play him with another striker And BowyerS seems reluctant to do so.

That wouldn't bode well for a Doyle return.

To be fair. If I'd been offered where we are now at the beginning of the season i'd have taken it. Games in hand on a few teams and a few players to come back. Need to find a cutting edge.

Sorry can't agree if we are going to criticise Dury when we lose we have to praise him when we win.
Look at the two we conceded first Sarcevic could so easily have been blown up against for a foul on Pritchard he defiantly had his arms all over him trying to bundle his way through, maybe the keeper and the two on the line could have done better.
The second is one of my personal hates playing the ball out from the back, you have to make the right decision when to huff it or when it can be played out safely without putting your defenders under pressure, a perfect example of O'Donnell making the wrong choice and we go 2 - 0 down.

At 1.23-1.28 we where was our right back-supposedly there to defend attacks down that side and what a shocking attempt by Mellor and Pritchard to block the cross. Henley eventually appears in shot in the centre of the box. Had we completely changed formation by then? I know Mellor came on at half time. Did Henley move into midfield and Mellor to RB?

Reeves played 90 minutes in a closed door friendly, a further 60 against Rochdale, has been back in training for several weeks but now isn't fit enough to play 20-30 minutes at the back end of a league game. I get why Bowyer doesn't want to rush players back in, but it does seem needlessly cautious.

I'd give it a couple of weeks and we should see him in action. ;)

    And for Taylor?

So of you counting on Reeves. It's shocking.

I'm not sure what length of contract we offered the lad.

Yes it looks like a 2 month contract was offered :
The deal was resurrected and completed on 11 November after Bradford were finally given full assurances that they would not face any sanctions for signing him, with Taylor signing a 2-month contract.
