Got what we deserved today, no complaints from me. Let's be honest, we've been utter shite against the good teams so far this season.

 

Worth a try I suppose, he knows how to drive a tank.

 

GB knows the division and what is needed..but I'm not seeing too much of it at the mo. Certainly all still to prove for me. Nearly men don't ascend.

Vaughan in with a shout for MOM in my opinion. Won nearly all his headers, put his body on the line, and stopped a goal going in. It’s not his fault Oteh doesn’t know how to read second balls. O’Connor was excellent and BRE solid.
Pritchard absent for most of the game. Akpan did ok and Devine made more mistakes during the time he was on. Connelly was hit and miss. Not sure why Cooke came off at half time. Ismael had to score but didn’t.

Shouldn’t have lost that. But as mentioned, we are just not clinical enough.

One of those disappointing games where we basically gave them two games and they won without really even trying. Really disappointing.

 

Swindon missing doyle is a massively weakened opposition. Exeter had a game of missed chances and we had 39% possession at home. We deservedly lost at Crewe, Cheltenham and plymouth.

 

Harder than Cheltenham ? Nah ..... Sorry.

You say Swindon missed Doyle, what about our lengthy injury list at the time?

 

Bowyer doesnt sound a happy bunny with that performance does he?

 

Does he ever sound happy? He’s one of the most boring managers we’ve ever had.

I really think the reason we're missing chances and not scoring goals at a high percentage isn't the striker, it's that the chances seem to constantly fall to midfielders.

For every overhead kick Vaughan attempts, there are far more falling to Pritchard, Ismail, Akpan, etc.

Our midfielders and our goal distribution HAS carried us to a play off position so far this season, but games like today we want Vaughan to be getting the majority of chances.

The question then is, will the same thing happen if we have Vaughan and Doyle up front?

 

Maybe we can loan Vaughan to Swindon and bring Doyle back.

Then watch in despair as Vaughan scores 20, and Doyle does nothing.

 

I couldn't get his post match interview on the radio I'l have to listen to the pod cast.

What did he say we lost because we gave Plymouth a 2 goal start, from what I heard before I got Ifollow on that's what we did ?.
