Weve been far from convincing all season. Many of our wins have been through fine margins. From memory, the only game where I thought we looked properly decent was Swindon, and they were without their main man.

Connolly is quick, but that's it. Ismail has a problem with consistency and being able to play 90 mins every week.

Our attacking play is a worry to me. We have little fluency and out whole game plan seems based on grinding results out. With the budget Bowyer has bee given, we should be seeing much more. There looks to be a lack of real coaching going on.

I have zero intention of watching League 2 football next season. Its soul destroying. Unless we shape up and conduct ourselves like a properly ambitious a d capable club, soon, I think more fans will drift away.

We came down on the train today, 10.11 from L***s, cancelled from Exeter 'cos the type of train doesn't like the sea wall at Dawlish.
Half hour wait at Exeter, now on way to Plymouth, due in 16.20.
7 hours from Bradford.

It does sounds like we're playing OK and creating chances. Just need to take one and not concede more. (stating the obvious, I know!!)

No one can be surprised as to how this game is playing out.

 

Silly game. Plymouth have created little off their own backs we just keep making mistake after mistake. Need changes at half time, because that’s not good enough. Plymouth must think their Christmas’ have all come at once.

 

Off the pace, lacking cohesion and 2-0 down and yet 3rd in our league. This season seems unreal to me. This squad has to show more because it's all about momentum and we are slipping the wrong side of consistency. Fed up of excuses and fed up of injuries being blamed for deficiencies in the squad. Management and players need to wake up and shape up.

 

Not blaming anyone, but sounds like that Ismail miss is the difference.

They get a couple of chances and take them, we miss narrowly.

That was the one, if we'd scored that we may have gone on to win.

 

Us missing chances costs us regularly, we ain't any worse than Plymouth here. Its that typical league 2 game again where either team could have won. Just seems other teams take their chances against us.

 

Got what we deserved today, no complaints from me. Let's be honest, we've been utter shite against the good teams so far this season.

 

He was seething about the start they gave Plymouth, and with the first half performance in general. He admitted to giving them a roasting at half time

He was moaning about the chances Oteh, Ismail and Pritchard missed.

I would have liked the reporter to have asked about Reeves, i.e. whats the point of him being on the bench if he isnt giving him any minutes. Also, where was Taylor, seems a pointless signing.

Finally, I would have being probing him about whether he is considering recalling Doyle

 

How can that possibly cost us promotion?

The worst it can possibly do is ensure Swindon finish top, above us.

The rest has absolutely nothing to do with Swindon or Eoin Doyle.

It's a factual impossibility.

If you're referring to Doyle leaving us making us significantly weaker, I suggest you go watch some of the dreadful performances he put in in a Claret and Amber shirt. If you can point me to a single thing that suggests he'd have been scoring goals for us this season, I'd love to see it. He was awful.

 

Better side won today, we need to now get over our lethargy up front.

We're better than most of the sides in L2, and will win the majority of games, especially at home, but we have been far from convincing since Clayton became injured - and he was starting to get criticism for missing glaring opportunities.

We need to improve our finishing, but the way our chances fall, I'm less looking at Vaughan and more looking at Pritchard, Ismail and Connolly - with Dylan in particular looking absolutely useless in front of goal.

Don't get me wrong, Connolly has been the most exciting newcomer in the team, and his pace is immense - he can do a lot in terms of breaks, turning defence into attack, etc, but his final ball and finishing is shocking.

Anyone wondering why he's on loan at a League Two club - that's your answer.
