I HOPE some Tea Cups are going to be thrown around our dressing room - Be that from GB at the players, or from the players at GB !!!!!!
This continual poor display just shouldn't be happening, nigh on EVERY week .......... Even when we WIN, it's a 'struggle', and far from convincing.

 

Bowyer will say we were tired after playing midweek. When we lost midweek it was because we hadn’t played for 10 days.

 

McCartney saying take the two mistakes away and there is nothing in it play wise, convinced City are still in the game.

 

I think it's the performances aswell though. Very rarely have we looked convincing this season and since Donaldson was injured we look like a side lacking ideas in attacking areas.

The league position is strong so that's a huge positive but it feels like we're going backwards slightly at the moment.

Yer but when we pass the ball to them on the edge of our box or let them wander through our (cough) 'defence', it's not hard to get them on target!

 

No excuses, we should be at least getting our shots on target. I don’t care what system we are playing you can’t score if you pass it back to the keeper. They can’t be working hard enough,!!

Bowyer appears very risk adverse to me. Examples - Cooke, Pritchard take ages to get game time after arriving, same now with Taylor. He talks up Reeves yet leaves him on the bench. He's stuck in a rut with this 4-3-3 formation that doesn't seem to suit the players in the sense that we're not creating a lot of chances or scoring enough.

I just don't think he's going to change. We're just going to have to suffer it unfortunately.

We're an average side. We've generally been poor all season so it's no surprise we're getting taught a lesson when we come up against a goot team.

 

Our performances have generally been unconvincing for much of the season. It's been enough to get results against teams lower in the league, but we're about to go on a run of playing teams either higher in the league or who're in form. I think many have been concerned that unless performances improved, results would start to drop.

Our attacking play worries me. It's not coherent in any way, shape or form.

Oteh is garbage. Connelly is fast, but that's it. Akpan is garbage too. Vaughan looks completely isolated.

 

For those of you who didn’t travel down to Plymouth - good choice this shower know how to spoil a weekend. Bower is cliuless. Rubbish tactics against a poor team

 

Only just got the game on Ifollow but many are saying we have gifted Plymouth their two goals.

 

Off the pace, lacking cohesion and 2-0 down and yet 3rd in our league. This season seems unreal to me. This squad has to show more because it's all about momentum and we are slipping the wrong side of consistency. Fed up of excuses and fed up of injuries being blamed for deficiencies in the squad. Management and players need to wake up and shape up.

If you include the rochdale game, City are heading for their fourth game without a win.
Bit of a run we are getting and with some players coming back but well short of ideas up-front.
