As Bowyer quoted to the Radio Leeds presenter, and we of all fans know that, how many teams over the years have had poor away records until they come to Valey Parade.
Didn't Park Avenue beat us at Valley Parade during their last season in the football league, I think it was their only away win all that season.

 

It'll never catch on.

 

It certainly feels like there are some who would rather be able to say 'told you so' than see us promoted.

Never mind the owners should have a plan in place for a replacement. The only plan Rupp should have is too get us sold. When things have been as bad as they have at this club for so long you start the cull from the top down, we need a new owner and rid of Rhodes as well. For once I agree with Fordy we need some footballing knowledge at the top, and business acumen with a dose of ambition. Otherwise things will not change.

 

Yeah, its not ideal being owned by someone who has no interest in football, the city of Bradford or even the UK.

I agree unfortunately I don’t think anyone will be forthcoming, certainly not in the short to medium term.

But tbh I’m sick of it, I still go every week, but these last few years have knocked the stuffing out of me again, like in the naughties. Since the playoff final it’s been hard to get excited like I did under Parkinson and that season under McCall. I’ll keep turning up, but it’s felt more out of duty than excitement this last 30 months. And I’m worried how long it’ll take to change. Defeats just don’t bother me as they used to, even wins rarely excite me tbh. I’m sure it’ll come again, just wish it’d hurry up.

 

Despite vowing to knock away trips on the head after some recent shockers, found myself getting tickets today.
Very fearful of what will ensue if we lose or maybe even draw, I think it may get very ugly.
Hopefully we will see a win and a good performance, at last.

 

Yes it would be a terrible result, given the poor results against Scunthorpe, Orient, Carlisle etc.

This in a nutshell. Regardless of the result, if i come away from Mansfield tomorrow feeling we have given them a good game then i won't complain. I'm looking for some structure to what we do, there's no reason we can't go down there and outplay them. If Scunthorpe can do it to us its about time we returned the compliment.

 

Devitt will be brought on around the 75th minute mark if we're really lucky.

It won't matter if it's working or not, the changes are robotic rather than reactive. Certainly not proactive.

Another missed place pass from Reeves. They look like they’ve given up and have no confidence, and this is against a team with no confidence. This could be a long end to the season. Starting to look like 17/18.

He’s another like McCarten who since we’ve signed we’ve had nothing but bad times. These sort of players aren’t Bradford City players. The team aren’t battling and haven’t for the last 3 weeks or so.
