    Yes and judgement and sentenced within hours just like the Juve/Napoli situation. In the meantime the EFL fiddles whilst Rome......... Waste of space.

    The EFL guidance notes are very specific. Clubs cannot cancel or postpone games of their own volition. If clubs believe they can't fulfil the fixture (the usual reason is for a medical issue affecting the majority of the squad) they have to advise the EFL and it's then a matter for the EFL to decide. This is from the EFL's own guidance notes which accompany the detailed Regulations ..

    It is not permissible for a club to make a decision to postpone a match and in the first instance Clubs should contact the Football Services Department for advice.

    If a club doesn't fulfil a fixture and the EFL hasn't postponed the game, it then beomes a disciplinary issue for the EFL to action. Simple.

    1973/74. If you look at the league table you will see that both teams played 45 matches, but that Scunthorpe have the points for the match that was never played. The programme is something of a rarity as well.

    Not getting carried away but we look organised and disciplined not to mention more of a threat. In Trueman and Sellars have we found the equivalent of the Cowley brothers I wonder.

    Points are what is important in this league. Performances will never be perfect with a small squad and quick turnaround between games but remaining unbeaten over 3 games is what is vital. That’s what these two caretakers have given us, we are gonna have periods of games where we are not dominant, we are not Man City or Liverpool.

    I am just enjoying it compared to how bad we have been

    I thought they did well when they came on. Probably the best I've seen from Guthrie.
    Great bit of skill to create the chance for Cooke near the end.

    We've become more solid and difficult to break down but we're not exactly blowing teams away. I think someone is getting a bit carried away with a few decent results.

    The team and the performances look a lot better, and Novak brings a threat that we seemed lacking in the last month with him being injured.

    I'm not for give the job out now, but I don't think we need to rush the decision and a few more games will see if the caretaker is up to the job or if this is just a post manager bounce.

    Worse thing we could do is offer a job after 3 games as see ourself back where we were two weeks ago.

    7 points in 3 games has put us well above the bottom two for the time being, and more importantly out of the bottom two should CoVid come along and finish the season.
