Friends and family would laugh at me been described as patience :) Unfortunately we have take the L2 medicine and swallow hard and not panic. L2 mid season managerial changes don't seem to get promotions. Lots of our rivals have had managers in their second or even fourth season and have had their ups and downs

Very frustrating, but there we are

Don't disagree. But I'd Bowyer to be able to get Prichard and Ismail fully fit and then see if we're just as bad. I'll give him some grace, as we're unfortunate that it's these tricky creative players that we're need and are missing

But yes, there have been very few games where we've looked very good

Doyle absolutely has to score that chance. 2-1 on the stroke of half time and momentum changes completely. Admittedly we created very little else and deserved to loose today by more than 1 goal.

Bowyer could have us in the relegation zone and you’ll still be on here clattering for patience.

I stopped posting a while ago but still read however, this is a genuine question not a wind up, why would you expect anything else?

Forget the tricky players - if O'Donnell is out, things could get much, much worse...

Agree here, particularly as we couldn't get rid of Akpan

However, that's his only error. Donaldson and Vaughan looked like forming a good partnership BRE and Paudie are good signings and his work on Wood deserves praise

And the loan signings, apart from Palmer and perhaps Taylor have been good

Look I think we simply have to be more patient. I'm actually good Rhodes is in charge as he can't be listening to fans wanting yet another change of manager. Notts County, Leyton Orient and Crawley all clubs who have spent money in their time have also changed their manager like their underwear and it's got them absolutely nowhere since their relegations

On the other hand clubs like Crewe and Colchester have stuck with managers who've had bad times, similar to what Wycombe and Bristol Rovers did in their times down hear and it's given better league
    positions

I have n’t read the posts from kickoff. I cannot be arsed. I said prior to this match that much would be learned from today. Bowyer is as dull as dishwater. We were completely ineffective. We played this game as though it was played over five days. No urgency, desire, fight or quality. Bowyer knows how to set up a team to not get beat. Anything other than that seems out of his range. I felt really sorry for Doyle. Tonight he must be as miserable as all the City fans who turned up to witness this crap.

Timing could be worse. I would assume we could get a decent loanee in during this window. But yes, the last thing we want is that largely good defence getting disrupted

Yes maybe clubs are trigger happy with the trap door for managers, but sometimes you can just feel things are not working out.

What utter tosh!! It's because we are handily placed in the table that gives Bowyer some kind of patience - that's how it works

But in your world we now sack managers because we don't like their style regardless of the position or progress relative to previously

I never hear you suggest a solution. You just come out with your daft one-liners or articles.

Answer this. Did you have full faith in Parky at this time in 2012?

3 of next 5 games are away and we know our struggles away. If our position is 10th after those games, what would you suggest then? Pressure is on?

We need someone to hold the ball.up front to allow midfield to push up. Today we had Cooke Pritchard and Devitt missing all in some degree like to get forward. However the reaction on here to one defeat is typically hysterical.we are back home next week where are record is better than anyone. Three points will be ours as usual

    @Tolly856@Tolly856

Can you explain your comment below, just before Bowyer signed and your contradictory stance now? I'm off to get some wine and popcorn and I look forward to you talking your way out of this one

    From March 2nd 2019
"I'm not even convinced that the current squad is as good as the one that finished 18th in league 2 under PP. There are some better individual players but they just aren't up to it and have zero fight whatsoever. Assuming we get relegated, next seasons target is to survive relegation into non-league"

we are hard to beat because we employ a defensive style of play, the challenge is to make us hard to beat AND provide entertainment I.e. goals, those things that ultimately win games.

when I say entertained, I guess working the opposition keeper would be a start.

We should be doing better than this with these resources and at least be going down with a fight, listening to people who were there today we got tore a new one and didn’t even look like we wanted it, that is shameful.

Recent Results esp away from home are actually average, We can not rely on home form. the league position may say 6th but that means nothing at this stage of the season.

our squad is probably the most expensive in the league, and today sounded truly pathetic. We’ve been here so many times, today was a chance to kick on and the same old bugbears surfaces yet again.

Why does Bowyer deserve any more windows, he has a big expensive squad he doesn’t know how to get the best out of already.
