    Palmer: does absolutely feck all
    Reeves: flatters to deceive, never runs forward, just collects the ball from one CB to the other

    What does Bowyer see in in Matty Palmer?. He has been very poor since returning from injury. I saw him in pre-season and thought he looked a very tidy player, however, he has offered nothing whatsoever since the season started. Send him back, if we can

    Palmer and Reeves don’t create and don’t score so why are they in the team. Our centre midfield needs to be much further up the pitch not showboating on the halfway line.

    It wasn't even a chance we created, it was a defensive mistake. Even Otehs goal was a miskick from a lump into the box from a free kick. The difference in standard of football between the two teams was massive, Crawley could have easily had another two or three.

    I've said it often enough. I fail to recall too many games where we have played the opposition off the park at VP with our particular style of football; or to put them to the sword when we've had the oppoortunity. It's not the way GB chooses to set-up the team and play the game.

    Asking Doyle to return and then expect him to continue in this way is just a repeat of most of last season. Equally expecting the rest of Div 2 players to suddenly change their mindset to accommodate his approach is just pissing in the wind. If we were looking to get better value from a striker, we should have been looking at somebody like Tom Elliott from Millwall who isn't the most graceful of footballers and more in the Donaldson mould than Vaughan or Doyle but is very good at mixing it with defenders and holding up the ball well for others. Unfortunately I think he's now gone to Salford!
