    Is he!? The fact he’s the top goal scorer in the division by some margin suggests otherwise. We make him look average, but I’m not sure that’s down to the player.

    I’ve said it repeatedly we need some muscle in midfield. Palmer and Reeves are both light weight. It’s not rocket science.

    We should ask the Crawley fans about Swindon's formation, set up and tactics when they played Crawley and Doyle got a hat trick.

    Don't blame Doyle, he's shown what he's capable of. Not his fault we create absolutely knack all. Bringing him back has shown our frailties as an attacking side. That won't change no matter who you put upfront.

    Doyle hasn't had a good game in a City shirt, we ALL KNOW he plays well in a Wellens side...

    This is not news, and it's not surprising he hasn't made a difference.

    He plays well in the sense that he scores lots of goals when provided with opportunities in the penalty area. Wellens understood that at both Oldham and Swindon. We're simply not geared up to that when the safety first mentality has been drilled into the team for much of the season. That mentality won't be changed easily.
