    I think its a safe bet to say City will be a League 2 side next year.. unless BLOWyer goes..

    There is something wrong with our squad. I am looking past the players. It has to be the coaching and the lack of a game plan that takes into account how we want to play and the ability to change the set up during the match. If we carry on this like this we can forget promotion. Decisions need to be made and fast.

    Twice in the first half Doyle had to come back to the half way line to pick the ball up, whats that all about, having said that he should have scored late into the first half, that goes in 2-1 all to play for, but taking nothing away from Crawley they we far the better side.

    Doesnt help having Drury still there, he was a common denominator with all last season's failures under Collins and Hopkin, he failed at Avenue too

    You cannot defend that today Park. Completely outplayed and not created a single chance for the leagues top scorer while Swindon are scoring three and losing their top scorer. Now 6th level with Forest Green, it simply is not acceptable.

    It’s a strange thing how certain players only perform at certain clubs. Not here to rub your noses in it, but this has really blown up in your faces. Granted, only one game and things may change.

    Has anyone checked in on Fordy?

    Come on Park. I had hoped for a win, but looking at the form guide then a draw was more likely. However we put in an inept performance and have lost all three points. Surely you can see that? We are now in the mire of the ‘play off’ places and have a game at Colchester where I think we will be lucky to get anything. Crawley’s run has been very poor, yet they comfortably beat us. Dress it up in any way you want, a defeat today was poor!

    We saw today it's all about application wanting to win and being the first to second balls etc Crawley were up for it, sadly all three of our midfield players created absolutely nothing, no excuses but I bet there will be from Bowyer.

    It wasn't even a chance we created, it was a defensive mistake. Even Otehs goal was a miskick from a lump into the box from a free kick. The difference in standard of football between the two teams was massive, Crawley could have easily had another two or three.

    And that's a poor use of his talents. It's what he spent a lot of time doing last season rather than getting into the penalty area where he is lethal. It's for the midfielders to get control of the the ball, take it forward and leave Doyle to find the space in the penalty area. But we've got used to half of our midfield being used to protect the defence with our safety first mindset and they struggle to know how to play in the opposition half. When we ask them to do something different, they are all over the place.

    At the root of this is that Doyle doesn't fit comfortably with GB's approach to the game. Having said that, most posters on here welcomed him back with open arms.

    Neither him nor GB have any idea how to attack weaker sides
    We are wasting money paying the whole of Doyle's big wages anyone could see that
    apart from Laurel And Hardy !!!!
