He’s just reverted to slagging off the players now. Claiming most of the players aren’t winners. That’ll go down well.

 

Some people can't be helped no mater how good a manager someone is. He knows the players better than any of us and has consistently backed them but there does come a time when you have to call it as it is. People put all the responsibility on the manager but the players cross the line and are responsible for their performance

 

It's devastatingly disappointing but who are we gonna get who has done it before? We can't possibly take a chance on a hunch. This guy has built teams. Patience was n't our plan and I can't see it at the moment but I think we have to keep faith.
We needed a guy who knew what he was doing. He's proved it. Just who are we going to get who is better?
It's not the battle it's the war. As hard as it may seem I think we need to hang on because this guy has at least done it before.
Will he do it again? I don't know but who else will?

Crankshaw never really got a chance, now moved to a club where he seems to be enjoying his football with 5 goals in 8 games. He might not have been the answer to our problems but he would have been an option in a team that looks devoid of options.

 

Why is our most creative player - Callum Cooke - warming the bench, when Watt and Gilliead - who between them produce the square root of feck all - keep getting games? It's bizarre.

 

I know a player who for certain gives a toss. Unfortunately he wasn't able to influence last night's proceedings due to warming the bench with his arse all night.

 

It seems to me that our best central midfield is Songo'o (defensive sitter) - Sutton (box to box) and Cooke (chance creator). In games when Adams wants to play three CBs he could put Foulds in the back three rather than Songo'o.
Watt and Gilliead, on current form, should be nowhere near a starting place.

 

Ahahaha aye, I'm pretty gutted. Like I wouldn't mind if we played decent football but we were just awful last night, these players can't maintain stamina and just drop off and stop playing football.

Ahahaha aye absolutely buddy, can't lie to myself about this shambles anymore. Like, Sutton's goal for me was a good goal, then Tranmere's first goal was a little too soft in my opinion, but after they scored we just fell apart, these players only turn up for 20 minutes and 70+ minutes is wasted, no urgency in this team.

I read what Derek Adams said about 'individual mistakes' and I said to my Dad, "Was he watching the same game as us?" More than just individual mistakes, the team aren't a cohesive unit, Tranmere ran circles around us for most of the game. Derek also said we were comfortable in the first half, from what I saw until we scored that goal they were dominating us in the opening 20 minutes ahaha, then went on to dominate us all through the second half.

 

Has Sparks commented at all today on last night's damning performance and post match comments - or is he too busy striking another dynamic local sponsorship deal with one of his mates

 

Tranmere are there to be taken. 2.0 win for me and the start of a decent run. We should be looking to win all of the next six.
