No, I said that Orient sacking two managers in 6 months because they think they can go up, I admire that.

Judging him on the Swindon hammering? Look at the 20 or so games he started and how many we conceded after his poor debut.

Burke was brought in to replace Davies. As a 3rd choice CB, Clarke was absolutely fine.

 

You said they were going for it and meant business!!! You also name dropped them with Mansfield and Salford.

 

Obviously want to beat Orient but a point wouldnt be a diaster considering the decent start.

Picking up home wins against these sides is more important. There are going to be a few slips and slides along the way. And some decent wins like Mansfield.

 

Any of you Ale drinkers going by train I do recommend the Palm Tree Mile End Park great pub. Jump off the train at Mile End Station walk to the park a few drinks back to the Station and on to Orient . I think that’s correct interestedbystander may help.

 

Coached his nephew at Queensbury Celtic. Got him to do our presentation night. Top bloke, stayed the whole evening and was very friendly. Stayed behind and let loads of people take photos of the kids with him!! Talked about City with him for a good while!!

Its nothing special, totally traditional old football ground with flats in the corners . Much better than the 4 sided tin sheds built nowadays. I like going there. And decent boozers on Leyton High Rd.

 

Never been either but used to go past it every day on the train at one time.

I don't think the Supporters Club Bar is open at the ground due to Covid. Been a few times and if it's beers you want it's miles ahead. Run by the members, open to away fans on a one day membership for a quid.

I was around London for 25 years and there are some pretty decent pubs away from the tourist trap.

Just stay away from sticky carpet ‘spoons!

 

Kings X to Lpool Street tube then Lpool St. to Leyton, 10 minute walk to ground, just be aware on Leyton High Street, can be a bit shady.

 

And it gives insurance against point losses elsewhere?

It won’t be long before teams start to put 9 men behind the ball at VP. So we can expect to see some wars of attrition and soon?
