Isnt it strange your activity heightens when we lose. Youve been very quiet after last few games. Until now of course...

 

They don’t work 7 days a week, they have Wednesday off and a shortened session Friday then 9 minutes on a Saturday. The poor darlings if they can’t handle what equates to around 2 full days at work for the average person at about 5 times the wage.

 

I’m not a big critic of R’OD like some on here as everyone will know, but they were two very stoppable goals. The first an impossible angle nearly, the second a mile out and pee rolled passed him. He’s better than that as shot stopping is his strength. That said he wasn’t the only one off today the whole team is to blame, we lost out physically and on the ball we were terrible.

 

A couple of days lighter training sessions didn't cause yesterday's reverse. Football life doesn't work like that.

Fourth division inconsistency.

 

ROD is going to cost us lots of points, always get's beaten at the near post, flaps and fails to catch the ball and has introduced thumping into his game, and not good thumping. Adams is doing great but i think he is playing the wrong keeper.

 

ROD has to be better for both goals. Has too.

 

As RT suggested, Canavan is as much at fault as ROD for that goal

 

He doesn't push him into that position, the striker goes past hence being able to get a shot off. I know ROD gets a lot of stick but Canavans job is to stop the striker either getting a shot off or stopping the other option of a cross into the six yard box. He does neither, but that doesn't fit the narrative of knocking ROD for everything.

 

What else canavan can do? Err, not let him get past him get a shot off? That shot shouldn't be even getting to O'Donnell, same with the second one.

 

Can’t believe some have said that it was appalling for Canavan to let the attacker goal side of him when the ball bounced, if AO’C had done that we’d be going mad and rightly so he was stuck in treacle and totally caught off guard same with RO’D. Both were at fault and both are professional enough I’m sure to hold their hands up afterwards and say they could have done a lot better. It’s not always just one persons fault for a goal it’s a team sport and as hippo said we were under siege anyway. Lower league football goes like this sometimes even those near the top play crap it’s about how we respond. I remember when we spanked Brentford 4-0 early season, they went up we were mid table.

 

Completely agree, i'm not on a Canavan rant, just pointing out any time a defender lets a player get a shot at goal while being that close then he has to accept he hasn't done his job. But thats football, players do sometimes make mistakes. Saturday was just one of those games where no one played well.

 

Yes agreed . The big pub on the left between the lul station and the ground was heaving with us last time we went. Tues night match from memory.
City fan had a balcony flat to our left corner. Happy days..let’s hope for more!

Our keeper and back 4 wasn’t half bad either….Not sure about the change up front for Hanson at HT though.

Tbf my mate who is Leeds fan walked his dog the other day by where we train and he couldn’t believe how nice the pitches/facilities looked.

 

Yeah, but its a private fee paying school.

 

Competitive training, nothing wrong with that. Build up a few personal "rivalries" and watch the fitness improve.

 

My bro in law was on his maths grades, unfortunately due to a lazy father and a mother who knew no better he never went. To be fair he did end up at Durham Uni as a mature student so it has worked out.
