Colville is still negotiating.I heard he recently got himself an agent, agent probably trying to secure a better deal for his client. I am ok with that.

I think that he is training and signing short term deals in the meantime shows us his willingness to remain. He just wants better security and lets face it, he will be one of the lower earners.

 

I would look at Anthony O'Connor as our holding MF tomorrow and put Paudie in the back 4. Palmer is wasted as a holding MF. He is decent on the ball and should be further forward with Gibson. Anderson can miss out.

Assuming we playing the same formation as last week.

 

Would rather put his wages towards another player. He's sh&te.

We urgently need to go out and get a decent midfielder in because or midfield is weak.

For Saturday I would consider Devine and Palmer.

 

People say bring in Paudie at CB but he is left footed so I am worried that if he plays instead of O'Connor we will be very lop sided in defence with probably a big gap between him and Mellor.

 

I don't think he's got a choice. He's under 24. As long as we offered him a contract that didn't give him a pay cut, he's got to keep turning up. Either he signs a longer contract with us or another club takes him and we get some compo. The club probably think that for the peanuts we are paying him, he's worth persevering with. Worst case scenario we get some money for his development.
