They probably have more sense than to throw their money away although if memory serves me correctly Whelan was born Bradford but grew up in Wigan.

I’d like to see City become more of a community club, I think you only have to look at the crowd to see that the fan base doesn’t represent the local communities. I think if they fail to engage the British Asian population in Bradford then longer term attendances will fall away. I like what Andy Holt and Dale Vince are doing, I’ve met Dale and Dane Vince and they have a real vision for their club as part of the community but also from the sustainability angle.

I don’t think anyone knows what City’s vision is, maybe get promoted, exist comfortably in league one without slowly paying Rupp is money back is my guess.

There are more Asian fans now than 10 years ago our sucsess under Parky brought more in but as with anyone who has no allegiance to a football club they follow the likes of Man U Chelsea, Liverpool etc.
