We’ve had new players, new CEO, new manager and we’re still struggling. The budget isn’t the smallest in the division so why do Bradford City under perform every year?
Protests? Far too many ‘happy to have a club to support’, ‘who is going to buy us’, ‘just get behind the lads’, ‘should be grateful we’re not Bury*’ types for that. Seriously, far too much apathy in the fan base for that.

My list of charlatans are people who have a title, look good but can’t do the job. Great at talking nice shirt pointy shoes etc. We have a few players like that too look ok in the team sheet but zero quality. We are being found out. The chairman is lord lucan. And the schemes and scoreboard are a bit like the titanic. Adjust the seats. Iceberg. Adjust the seats. ICEBRG. I still like Adams and my respect has gone up after his rant. One of the crosses for the goal from Crawley came from a Prem loanee. No more to say.

 

And yet all this could have been avoided had we have pushed the boat out and signed a decent striker, you know, like Bolton did Doyle or an attacking CM, like Bolton did with Sarcevic. Because thats what Bolton realised they had to do to get out of this mess of a division. And yet somehow we got taken in by the hype machine built off the back of strengthening with jorneymen like Gilliead and Cook, injury prone Lee Angol, non league Kelleher and strikers that no one else wanted. Add that to what was already a bang average squad and you can see why Adams claims he hasn't a player who can score out of nothing. Adams can now see what we've seen for years. Lets just blame Turnbull, that'll appease the masses won't it....

 

It’s a squad that finished 15th last season. On what I’ve seen so far none of the signings made over the summer are an upgrade, maybe Songo’o but he’s looked off the pace. The front line is worse than a year ago. Derek Adams is a good manager but he’s not a miracle worker.

I’ll keep saying it, Rupp isn’t getting his money back until we’re at the pointy end of League 1, a couple of hundred grand on a good striker and a good midfielder instead of wasting money on Lavery and Gilliead and the club goes up. Much more of this shit and next season in League 2 will have a tiny budget because nobody will buy season tickets. It’s typical short sightedness that’s blighted this club for years

 

I think if Jamie has mentioned any player Adams would have given the same reply, unfotunatly it was Crankshaws name that was brought up.

 

And this what the boos were for. Not against the players per se. They didn't sign themselves at the club. Its because we've seen this before, a poor recruitment strategy thats left us conceding goals (no clean sheet since the start of the season) and not scoring goals. It didn't even need hindsight to show what would happen. Deary me.

That says it all mate Rupp has little interest in who the manager is yet if that manager makes a comment about the club and what's gone on previously he wouldnt like it.
Very much the same scenario as it was with Edin, I'm the owner and can't be criticised, he's in the wrong industry mate if he believes because he's told us he will do his best to get us back to where we were when him and Rahic took over will pacify fans, he'd better think again, I'm not suggesting a fly bye again but he certainly reacted when that was going ahead.

 

Best interview I’ve heard in years related to the current state of this club. For me, I don’t hear a meltdown, I hear an honest assessment of the players and the club. Couldn’t agree more with his reaction of Crankshaw and the same goes for the other subs and starting XI.

Where should it leave Adam’s? In exactly the place he is now - manager of this club. We should be listening and learning from him and that starts with the players, owners and board.

Last week I was disappointed in Adam’s lack of changes till 80mins and maintain IMO they should have come sooner. Today this sits 100% with the players. The performance and goals against were just so poor. No responsibility taken for their jobs - hope the managers message was 100% received and taken on board.

 

My main concern about yesterday (apart from all the money it cost me go watch that shower), was how good we made a very average side look. I couldn't pick out even one decent performance.
At least with Adams he didn't make excuses about injuries, he said the side he put out should have been capable of getting a positive result.

 

I think they should reimburse the travel costs for fans who went yesterday.

This can only go 1 of 2 ways for Adams. The player will react and get better or he’ll lose the dressing room and he’ll be sacked.
I’m desperately hoping for the former otherwise is shows again the players have too much power in the game.

 

He's only asking the players to do what they are paid to do. If he loses the dressing room because of it, he won't be the one that needs sacking.

 

I don't know about anyone else, but resolving long standing issues in the football department whilst simultaneously trying to get promoted doesn't sound feasible.

Season tickets aren’t on sale anymore, you may have noticed the talk of promotion has stopped. It’s like a junior Rhodes he must be so proud.

 

Sparks totally missed the point of what Adams was saying.

 

I hear Adams comments aiming at Rupp and Sparks myself.

We've a shit owner in Rupp for years.
We've had a shit CEO in Rhodes and Sparks for years.
We've made excuses for failure for years.

The above are why the same shit keeps on happening.
