Understand the sentiment but that second half was a really difficult watch. We dropped so deep I thought we'd end up in Morecambe eventually. Just watched wave after wave of attack.

Only real positive for me is Ridehalgh. Very little gets down the left side past him.

 

Similar to us at home against FGR they didn't deserve anything from that game, did Salford deserve all 3 points at their place, did we deserve all 3 points at Mansfield, that's what makes football so unpredictable mate.

 

If it’s a reserve Barrow side then maybe it’s an excuse we should start making about ourselves as for much of the season we’ve had 4-5 starters out injured. It’s a squad game I don’t like people making excuses for us when we have injuries, nor should we make them for other clubs.

Lucky to not concede what appeared to be a good 2nd goal for them. Why we don’t appear to be able to block crosses in the first place I don’t know. Many examples of this. Poor effort / half arsed attempts to block crosses by Cooke gilleard and threlkeld in particular could have lead to goals. TBH I thought we were lucky today against a poor team. city need a good window and major improvement in the second half of this season. Otherwise it’s another abject failure to deliver on promises made to the fans at the start of the season. Ie promotion. It’s wearing thin. Many long standing supporters are in two minds for next season and despite what he keeps saying Adams results and football have fallen well short this season.

 

Important result despite the performance. Understandable given covid effects/lack of games but then again we've seen many of those type of performances to believe it's necessarily a one off.

Cook makes a huge difference so really important to have him back. Fair play to Gilliead, created both goals and was good defensively and he needed to be because Threlkeld was dreadful yet again. Wtf was that pass leading up to their goal?

Don't know about anyone else but Songo'o continues to disappoint. Poor in possession and teams are still getting through our midfield in areas you'd expect him to be.

Much work to do but good start to the year.

Don’t you think we’ve had it rubbish for years? Our fans aren’t glory supporters that’s for sure. Long suffering imho and deserve a bloody medal.

 

The standard of Barrow’s ground was far from professional. Without doubt the worst shithole I’ve ever had the misfortune to visit.

 

Why do I need to agree with you that today's win was remarkable? By extension any team winning today had a remarkable win.

Of course you'd disagree, you're on the wind up as usual. If anyone doesn't agree with you then they're just wrong according to you. It's impossible for anyone to have a difference of opinion with you because any different opinion to yours is just wrong according to you. You're a bit boring really.

1thing you are forgetting is the bends on that route might make some of the players travel sick you know how delicate they are .
