Can't understand that second half display at all against what was a depleted Barrow side. We did our level best to make them look decent by dropping way too deep with the most negative of tactics. If Barrow had had strikers available we'd be lucky to come away with a point. These new January signings can't come soon enough although how much of a difference they'll make with Adams negative tactics I'm not sure.

To be fair Kelleher did an okay job today, with a couple of mishaps thrown in for good measure.

It was hardly a classic but we've been on a poor run lets just enjoy the 3 points and believe we can continue against Carlise next Saturday, we know sometimes once in a poor run it may take a bit of luck to stop that run and today we rode our luck at times but this result should give the player a little more belief in themselves. and a full week with no distractions.

 

I suppose if your happy with our full squad being very lucky to hang on against Barrow reserves and a refereeing error
Then it was a great win on another day against a different team we would have been swamped

More to it than having 2 or 3 extra quality players..
They need to be competently managed both on and off the field...

 

Lack of training coming back from a draining illness.

 

I am very happy with three great points under the circumstances. I don’t like the tactic of getting everyone behind the ball once we score but second hale today I can fully understand it with illness and a vcentre forward who has been out for weeks

 

Similar to us at home against FGR they didn't deserve anything from that game, did Salford deserve all 3 points at their place, did we deserve all 3 points at Mansfield, that's what makes football so unpredictable mate.

 

I complemented him coming for crosses etc first half but from my armchair it looked a good goal, I heard Adams is not happy with either keeper and would be looking to bring someone in, lets hope he does neither inspire.

Exactly there have been 4 or 5 games this season where we have had enough chances to bury the games and either come away with nothing or 1Point so when circumstances are against us this is a good win

 

I’ve heard that about every management team since McCalls second spell, yes there is more to it it’s called investment instead of paying peanuts…

 

There are no half decent teams in this league were told, look at FGR doing the business week in week out yet they looked a poor side at Valley Parade.
