These tinpot clubs giving the bare minimum.
MK Dons with 20k empty seats gave Wycombe 2k tickets last year.

Will be poor if we get 1,600 tickets and the crowd is 6k under capacity.

 

On that basis we should give them the same number.

 

The finances for the play-offs are split between the Football League and the four clubs. There's no incentive for teams to give more away tickets than they have to.

I presume we'll get the two blocks in the corner, which we usually get at Carlisle.

 

But we aren't bitter and simply give them what they usually would have.

They had a whole terrace behind the goal that has gone unused for a decade, till they opened it for a £10 a ticket game

 

Salford are quids in then. Money for nothing.

 

Not sure just how many tickets we'll give you to be honest. The Pettril End has been given to home fans for a couple of big games towards the end of the season, however I think a lot will depend on the first leg result to be honest as to whether we sell out or not.
If memory serves then we have to give you 10% of the capacity, which is roughly 1500/1600.

 

Do your lot have a message board? I've seen one but I thought it would be more active. I might be looking at the wrong one.

 

BTW Salford could be one of those bitter clubs and actually give Stockport just 500 tickets if they want under football league rules.

 

I certainly wouldn’t let you have 10% of todays attendance of over 22,500 There has to be like for like availability. A massive imbalance if you don’t, especially if you don’t sell all your allocated space at home?
What is your average attendance this season 6,000 ish? Slightly over a third of the available capacity??

We've had a few to be honest but they keep stopping then starting up again...the one a lot of people use at the moment is called 'The Buzz is Back' The Word on the Warwick.

 

Maybe they are giving us behind the goal at their place too as a compromise?
