Away Ticket Fiasco vs Carlisle

Ryan Sparks actually replied to my second email sending me the rules with the 10% figure highlighted, suggesting this meant we had to give Carlisle 10%. If you read it properly that only applies if the number of tickets given is lower than 2,000. I've had to explain plain English to him, as politely as possible of course.

I believe big Bobby scored that day we won 2 - 1, wasn't it our first game after our promotion in 84/85 season.

 

Still no indication from the club of when away leg ticket info will be coming out. The club have handled this atrociously IMO. Even the staunchest patriot of the club cannot deny this

 

Messaged that help account earlier and they are still waiting on arrival of tickets before putting them on sale. With them being closed Tommorow it’ll be Friday at the earliest, although I do think it’ll be Monday as they’ll want to get home game done first.

although I think putting out there what the allocation is and the points bands would be helpful so people can plan travel etc.

 

Completely agree. They’ve definitely not thought of the fans with this one and wonder how this impacts upon supporters groups sorting travel as unless your very high up in points you can’t definitely say your going

 

Yes we've had to make a provisional booking. It's really difficult for supporters groups.

 

Depends how quickly Carlisle printed out the tickets. For games like this in the past it has been known for people from the club to drive to the other ground to pick them up so it wouldn't be surprising if Carlisle sent someone to pick them up monday evening or first thing Tuesday whereas Carlisle have sent ours by courrier. It was always likely the away leg would be done Friday at the earliest to focus on the 1st leg which is the most urgent issue.

 

Err.... we didn't get any tickets, they were printed out on A4 sheets of paper....I kid you not!!!
Seemed bloody strange to me, I kept asking the ticket lady 'if this was right, and would they accept this at the Bradford end?
She assured me that everything will be fine.

I just was a bit surprised as I've always had a 'printed club emblem ticket'.
