Can’t wait to see if the club backs the atmosphere or the season ticket holders I think it’s going to make a few season ticket holders upset and if they start wanting refunds do the club backdown and leave the atmosphere in the NWC

Kinda feel for the club with this, they've asked the fans what they'd like to see and let's be honest the atmosphere at the best of times in VP isn't always that good. A bit difficult to locate them in the lower kop but I personally would love to see the kop as I remember it as a lad.and having the boisterous fans nearer the pitch to me adds to a much better atmosphere.

Just out of interest we're do these B Block loyals sit when it's not a league fixture.
I have to re locate having been ousted from my seat in the Midland Road it's a given apparently.
Shove the atmosphere section in the Dallas shut the N W C completely oh wait a minute you can't do that I've always sat in there brigade will have something to say.
Let's move the atmosphere section behind the dug out now that would kick up a stink amongst the incredibly loyal fans who have sat there for years.
    The whole situation is pathetic.

    Agreed.
I'm being moved as I've been a season ticket holder in the NWC for the last 8 years, but you know what, I don't care, as long as we try something to get the best out of a crowd that to be honest, at home, is pathetic.
Behind the goal, generally at every ground up and down the country is where the most vocal supporters should be and are. The home end!
Sides, upper tiers and corners are for those who want to sit on their hands for the whole 90 mins of a match, yet will clap furiously like a seal for the players after a 3-0 home defeat.

Not anymore. I moved across to the main stand a couple of years ago, when an upper front row seat became available. No one stands up in front of me now. :joy:

i dont understand the logic of closing all but 8 rows of the upper tier. if its open its going to need stewarding so might aswell open it all up.

It offers the best view in the ground and if i were to renew id have thought about going back in there.

As I mentioned earlier, they may be holding it back for those not happy to be sitting in/behind the new 'atmosphere area'.

Sat in the main stand for the FA cup match against Wycombe, my lad fancied a change.
No doubt a great view, but my god like sitting in a library.
Towards the end of the game attacking the kop end, we got a good head of steam up pushing for an equaliser, we were up and down in our seats , the complaints from the people behind.
We were not permanently stood just at the exiting bits. Were we being inconsiderate, i do not think so.
I had to say to the guy behind, this is football not the opera.
In the words of Maximus in Gladiator, are you not entertained.

its football, it gets you up and down in your seat, or at least it should, does not happen enough at VP to be an issue though.

Were you being inconsiderate? Yes you certainly were. Just spare a thought for the people sat behind , why should they miss seeing a goal because someone in front suddenly stands up. Oh for the good old days when those wanting to stand went on the Kop and could jump up and down to their hearts content .

People in front of me and them and them were standing at those moments, it happens its football.
So i am afraid in this instance i have to disagree.
If we score do you sit there cross legged politely applauding or do you leap up and scream with joy.
They have no need to worry though , unless forced, i will not sit in there again, they can all sit happily reading gardeners weekly on their mobile phones.

Yes you will be - your ticket(s) will be cancelled on 7th or 10th April (can't remember which date exactly) and forced to sit elsewhere should you wish to renew. Those seats in Block B are no longer yours.

Yes I do get up and cheer AFTER I have seen a goal. You must appreciate that not everyone is physically able to jump up quickly- why deny them the opportunity to see a goal.

I am not sure i am that physically able these days, just can not help myself , still get a thrill from the game, maybe i am just a big kid.
If i am honest i would prefer to stand at a match, its such as shame that all football fans were treated as hooligans because of the mindless minority, just like the idiots with flares at today's matches.
