Atmosphere stand

Out of curiosity have you been informed by the club of the change.
Not everyone uses the internet.
We used to have an elderly gent sit with us in c block for many years but could no longer manage the steps so moved last season to the top of b block. I fear he will stop coming now he’s having to move again and probably won’t be alone.

 

So how many took part in the survey, where 80% wanted the move to the bottom of the kop.
I did, would have gone for block A myself, smaller block less people to move and no one behind.
For the record i am in block c
It just seems no matter what the club do, someone is unhappy these days.

 

There’s a wheelchair section at the top of A block I have a friend sits in it

 

If the noise boys are in the lowest seats, even with flags , the top of the block should be high enough to see over .
How many spaces are there and are they all used?

 

Not sure how many spaces but yes all used as it’s very crowded on that platform.

 

If everyone that currently sits in block B renews it doesn’t leave much room for the atmosphere people.

how many are there? Are we talking a dozen or a hundred?

 

Of course it’s a nimby thing unfortunately if it means disturbing or evicting existing season ticket holders from seats they like. The atmosphere section should stay where it is . Failing that move it just behind press box in main stand

People do not like change, unless its the owner, or CEO.
As i said the club can not win, they asked and people replied, they acted on the replies and now people are complaining.
If 80% said no, they would have left them where they were.

 

Yep. The concourse under the main stand sounds like a good idea

Of course they did, who would pay more if they did not have to.
Lets keep the tickets at £200 until the year 2050 , when we are playing in the premier league, The northern premier league.

 

I fear that come the 1st home game next season this could become a bit of a mess with people in block B renewing their seat and those moving down from the NW Corner taking any seat but treating it as unreserved seating, which will certainly results in a lot of arguments. Also there's the issue with people in the Bantams Bar wanting to sit and anyone in a wheelchair who's view is blocked. With the survey there should've been a separate one for people who would actually be impacted by this and another for those who don't as really the view of someone who sits on Block B should hold more weight than someone who sits in the Main Stand. It's all well and good the people in NW Corner saying they want to move but this now the 3rd section they've had and ultimately nothing changes, how many more times will they ask to move.
To me this sounds like a PR exercise as they know the people in the NW corner will have a lot of people in it who are vocal against the club so if they give them this then it keeps them quiet for a bit.

 

they are not forcing anyone to move. They have told you that the atmosphere people are moving in if there are spaces. No one has been forced to move

 

Of Course they will.
Disabled section is at least 10 rows higher.
Only issue will be those in the bottom few rows of the exec blocks.

 

Be fun watching the stewards when season ticket holders turn up to their seats and someone is waving a flag refusing to move

 

But there aren’t currently and won’t be any spaces if everyone in that block renews so if they don’t want drums and flags, they know what to do.
However, the atmosphere group could send a bunch of strongly worded letters voicing their displeasure in an attempt to force / persuade the B Block occupants to move out against their wishes just because they aren’t active / vocal / interested.
