......which could lead to issues for those in the Bantams Bar, including the wheelchair users at the back of that area.

Well I'm all for it, hopefully it brings in the atmospheres we've seen in the cup games. To be fair D block stand up for large parts of the game anyway.

It's the right place for a designated 'atmosphere' area (and, further down the line, a safe standing area), but they will need to solve the Bantams Bar conundrum (for which there are several possible solutions).

This, of course, should not have been announced just as season tickets go on sale.

It's a fair point, you would hope the club have looked at that as they won't want to be upsetting the people who spend more bar access and also if it did block the view of the wheelchair users then it's really not a good look for the club which could backfire massively.

Looking at the map for season ticket sales there aren't a lot of spare spaces in Block B so unless they've held some seats back for them most people looking to move there will have to wait until unsold season tickets are released. It also does mean that there's quite possibly going to be a few unhappy people if they don't want to be in that area anymore.

How many are actually involved in the 'atnosphere' group that currently go in the NWC? maybe they will all fit in those 20 seats together towards the front of the block?

Maybe (by design or by accident) they are keeping the upper North West Corner back (bar the bottom 8 rows), to offer to those 'displaced' from the Kop by the 'atmosphere' section.

There are so many comments that would see me both banned and condemned to hell, so I'd best just walk away

Might amuse a few people but I am very upset with the club over this. We sit in block b and like the seats which we have had for a long time and don’t want to move. And whilst I appreciate the case for atmosphere but not in my ear please. Hopefully like us people in that area will refuse to move to make way for it

Totally agree i sit in block B have done for many years. I won't be moving. And the row I sit on is full with season ticket holders as is the one in front and behind. In fact same faces every season for many years now. Can't see where there gonna stand or sit if they want a big group together.

Whilst I sympathise with your predicament just bare in mind your seat isn't yours unless you renew it for next season in which case the club have given you notice of their intention to make Block B the Atmosphere section therefore you have purchased a seat knowing this.

Three people I know had the same scenario when the NWC was given presidence to become the new atmosphere section.
They had seats on the front row of the upper section but we're told they would have to move.
Obviously they felt like you at present and after various correspondence and some very heated exchanges with the club they bit the bullet and moved to the Midland Road stand.
The only other alternative, well I guess you know the answer to that.

They’ll just move the plastic from the front 4 rows and have the flag wavers / drummers stand there, forcing everyone behind to also stand

Sounds like home games will become the new away game norm where everyone stands up and don’t give a flying feck who can’t see behind them. All about the atmosphere though. X

Like I said that's your choice but you know our club and how things work by now.
Enjoy the Samba beat and hold your flag way up high my friend, it's the future of Block B the club say's so but they have made u turns in the past so don't give up hope.
