I'm buying one to keep my seat. If I use it is down to what happens between now and May

 

I’ve done similar before but if it’s a choice between losing my seat or funding Rupp then I’ll sit somewhere else when I finally come back, which I will and can’t wait for the day that I get my enthusiasm back.

Something has to change if we lose tomorrow and this poor form continues then they will know how many are actually turning up at games ............ come March time we could be hitting between 6/7k at home do they really believe that all the missing 6k are gonna rush out and buy season tickets next season ?????
If he want his investment back then he’s got to start funding us properly not the 5th best budget but the best budget ............. I mean who in there right mind would pay the price he paid for a club that has gone badly backwards ???
At the time he bought us we had a side that was on the brink of smashing into the championship with gates of 17k plus ...............now we are at best a midtable league two side that look more likely to drop down into non league football than get promoted with REAL gates of less than 10k so logic says that nobody is gonna pay him the same money for a club in decline

 

As for protests 5 thousand or so not turning up for home games will have more affect than a few banners

 

If the fans really turn against Adams then he is finished here, If Sparks tries to defend him rather than replace him and the fans turn against Sparks then he to is finished here,

 

99% of my experience is the beer before (and sometimes after) and the people we have sat with since the new Kop opened. I don't really want to pay for something I might not use but if not paying meant I lose the seat I've sat in for 23 years then I will do it.

Did we pay Morecambe a fee for Adams or was he OOC?

That could influence things, as could a potential hefty payoff on his three year deal

 

Deduct any pay out from Saprk's weekly wage. He should pay for his mistakes.

I’m not attending this weekend. I’ve simply had enough, signing a goalkeeper when we don’t really need one is my final straw. The owner and everyone behind the scenes needs to go. Total morons!!

 

I would have thought Evans will be our top earner. Nothing to support that at all but Gillead was at another League 2 side so wouldn't have thought he’d be on that much.

Cooke dropped down from L1 didn’t he and Mansfield have money so can see Cook also being on a decent wage too.

 

Cooke came to us on loan from Peterborough and signed on a permenant in the summer after being released. If I remember rightly, he had offers from elsewhere on more money but really wanted to come back and play for City. Wonder if he ever regrets that decision.

 

I agree with you there is more to a match day than just the 90 minutes of football, but it’s hard not to care about that and switch off from it no matter how hard o have tried. For me it could be the only way to force Rupp out and create a feel good factor again so I’d sacrifice them days out short term to see that happen.

sad isn’t it I’ve done a handful of away games and tbh it’s been really good till 3pm and then it all falls apart I mean the highlight should actually be the game but not with this lot ........... got a free ticket for tomorrow night but I ain’t travelling all that way for that shower in fact we don’t win tommorow then I can see me not going again this season .............. call me fickle etc but we should have seen the back of this mess in 2013 sadly some folk down there are content with this dross and that comes from the top ............if he had any ambition of getting us out of this league then heavy backing would have happened by now but yet again nothing ............ I sadly ain’t giving up my Saturdays to a bunch who simply don’t care

 

Just read an article that the average for the top earners in league two is £114000 a year, we have 7 players earning more than that, a few considerably higher. As a caveat that table maybe inaccurate but if it is not then these players are hugely under performing on probably the best pay packets in the league.

 

I seem to recall we paid compensation.

 

Also to add on to this, Adams isn’t the biggest problem in all this. You change the manager and it’s just going to be a full circle, the club needs new blood desperately. Bye bye Rupp bye bye Sparks and all his part time rugby league entourage. Just rudderless stupidity left right and centre with no care or thought.
