I agree with you about Adams in particular - I have said since day one he is a strange character and a few weeks back that I honestly don't think he is the right fit for our club (not just based on results and performances, it's a gut feeling)
But highly unlikely Sparks has the gonads to change things now even though in his most honest moments he must know its not working out as planned

I don’t understand when people say a manager isn’t the right fit for our club what’s that mean? Are we a special club or something he got Plymouth who we are no more special than promoted when given time, as for his character Parky was hardly the most likeable person you only have to ask McLean and Steven Davies that and they’re just the ones who went public and his football most of the time was hardly dazzling.

The club has been shoddily run for years and we are exactly where we deserve to be there is no right fit, while Rupp is in charge we have to just give someone time and hope they come good because the other strategy under him has been a huge failure.

If Rupp left and owners came in with a real vision for the club then it’d make sense to get rid and appoint their own man who matched that vision but until then all we’ll do is continue as we are doing every 6 months.

We aren’t special and we don’t need some special fit, we’ve had all different managers and styles of play with no success this last 4 years, we need a new owner and a vision and direction for the club. Until then it’s all pretty much irrelevant, only positive I can take is we are safely mid table because that’s an improvement on last season when I thought we were going down in December. Oh how we have fallen.

I’m all for giving Adams time IF we look like we are looking like we are moving to do something ........... but do that lot and his style of play look like we a building into something ???

I'm struggling to get to grips with this, you're pushing for protesting and to get the chairmen, ceo and manager out but what happens if that's successful and there's no one to take over?

God knows but this drifting along ain’t doing him any good at all he either backs us or just fooks................... I just don’t get his mentality because if he’s after his money back then as it stands that value will continue to go down ....... I mean you think the same number of season tickets will be the same next season if this season fizzles out ???

Adams has stated a number of times that we need better than what we've got, repeating it again at the fans forum the other week. Ryan at the same event reiterated that the aim this season is promotion and anything less will be failure. They've got just over one week left to back those statements up with action. I demand that they do that, excuses won't wash, and if we get to the 1st February and that hasn't happened, that's when the goodwill stops for me.

You can’t get him out unless he sells, it’s not a matter of no one to take over, he has to sell to leave. So the premise of what happens if he decides to leave is a false one. Until Stefan sells he’s here, the only thing he could do is not add money to maintain the current budget once ST sales and sponsorship revenue fall on the back of an overpromised and underdelivered season. If he did that the club could be relegated and he’d lose all his investment.

I’ve said it before, under Rupp we’re in the top three worst performing clubs still in the league. How much worse can it get?

Rupp won't 'feck off', he'd stand to lose too much money and at the moment he's losing nothing bar what he's already put in.
Something has to change in a business sense, with the garbage being served up every week they stand to lose thousands in lost season ticket renewals and the direct loss and merchandise and food/drink sales because of it.
We are no further forward this season than last, 2 point difference from this season to last.
Management on and off the field need to be accountable.

 

I agree @AngryGaz he has three options as far as I can see
He could come over himself for a good few months see how things are run right the wrongs with a view to build back up then sell for as close as he can to what he paid for it (I believe he is capable) you dont amass his reported wealth if not
He could send a "team" of analysts across to do the above for him
He could drift along and eventually lose everything
Whatever he does he needs to realise Mr Sparks and Mr Adams aren't going to restore the club to the position it was in when he bought it (Hoping like mad he has lost Juniors number) that would be catastrophic for the club
Eventually he HAS to act but in the meantime we just have to settle for mid table L2 mediocrity

 

Mr Adams needs reminding why he was brought here on a (quite lucrative I imagine) 3 year contract
He is the one who boasted he gets teams promoted with little or no budget who could mold a group of individual players into a promotion winning team after all he did get Morecambe promoted (didn't trust himself to keep them there tho)
