You have no idea if we are in a good financial position. We are owned by someone who is purely keeping us afloat and doesn't live in the country.

What players have we signed with the right character?

You have no idea what players are being paid and that Akan was on "silly money."

Stuart is well respected by us the Bradford fans. I can't imagine he is thought of more than any other manager in the league.

Do you think the fact we have coaches as positive?? Its the bare minimum.

Better training facilities? Adequate and not owned by the club... Along with the stadium.

Ryan Sparks speaks drivel and made the fans look stupid only last week.

Do you live in a world of unicorns and rainbows?

I don't want someone who is 'respected' I want someone who wins games.

It is a completely meaningless statement.

From Wikipedia....here is the list of managers...so who isn't respected?

I think that they could all claim to be 'respected' and that the players 'wanted to play for them' at some point in their careers.

Weird how quick the general consensus on this has flipped (not to suggest yours has, I don't know), I'd be very interested to see what people's opinion on this exact subject were last time McCall was here...

There was a discussion recently about Stuart McCall’s win rate and the usual suspects picked it bits - I’m not going there again.

By “respected” I meant in the context of Collins, Hopkin et al.

This sentiment that Stuart is well respected over anyone else is ridiculous and its something ive seen a couple of people say. Its ridiculous.
Any players now won't remember Stuart the footballer and he hasn't ripped up any trees in his managerial career.

I think Vaughan and Doyle situations has shown the club in a new light of being weak when it comes to handling difficult players or situations, the club rolled over and got its tummy tickled on both and haven’t replaced either. Really disappointing.

Irrelevant where he lives. I suspect most chairmen up and down the land are simply keeping clubs afloat. However we do not appear to be £millions in debt and are reportedly in the black.

Clarke and Cooke particularly stand out.

it was well reported that we had the highest wage bill in League 1 in the season we finished 24th, which it doesn’t take a genius to work out that players were on silly money.

Fair point, but he is reportedly very much a “player’s manager”

We have spent time without a proper fitness coach (Robert Lossau FFS!), and no GK coach. The fact we now have these in position is a positive compared to the shitshow that we had before.

Appreciate we’ve been at Woodhouse Grove for a while now, but before that they were inadequate. We have much better facilities than a lot of L1 and L2 clubs.

Disagree. He’s very much a positive asset to the club IMO.

Do live in a world of depression and misery?

You are literally scrapping the bottom of a very deep barrel looking for any positives there and its all conjecture.
You have absolutely no idea of the clubs financial footing, what the players are paid, what the character of Callum Cooke is or have you visited any other clubs training facilities.
If you think at this moment that the club is in a good place then that's absolutey your opinion but it couldn't be further from reality.

Similarly I believe your opinion of us being a badly run club is just a very negative outlook when you have no real idea what goes on behind the scenes either. I guess we’ll just have to agree to differ and wait for the season to start.

Pretty much every successful club at any level has something in common re. recruitment - they have an identifiable footballing style, and strategy for the club, and a selection process whereby there'll be an ultimate decision maker - but more than one individual has a say. Leaving it solely to the discretion of the manager is out-dated and results in the continual cycle of rebuilding we subject ourselves to.

Its plain as day to see!!!! Its like being slapped with a really big fish!!
We messed up not signing players before the salary cap while Ryan Sparks made up things about us not being able to. We then lost our best asset for nothing!!!! To another league 2 club!! Another thing Ryan Sparks messed up with!!
Apart from a couple of contracts renewed we've managed to bring in some Scunny fringe player and Billy Clarke hahahaha.
Rhodes, Rupp and Sparks... One is never in the country. One has taken us through 2 admins and the other apart from tweeting back to fans offers very little. Sorry that im not on the same page and would like to see some very drastic improvements.

We had until the two German's took over and took us back to where we were 5 years ago, it was never going to get turned around in a season or two and that was before Covid-19.

Two best goal scorers gone to rivals in the same league, who will no doubt finish higher than us as a result. It is comical hearing we are well run, we lunge from crisis to crisis and each year our stock gets weaker.
